I absolutely love Vegan Pastry Lab! I've been coming here since they first opened—shoutout to my best friend for putting me on! As someone who’s both gluten and lactose intolerant, it can be tough finding treats that taste amazing, but this place delivers every time.
My go-to is the salted chocolate chip cookie (truly addictive), but the surprise favorite for me has been the peanut butter and jam bar—absolutely to die for. I never expected to love it as much as I do, but now I crave it all the time.
The only downside? They’re closed on Mondays & Tuesdays, which of course is when my sweet tooth always hits! I also do wish there were a few more gluten-free options on the menu. That said, what they do have is so good, it keeps me coming back.
They also offer a great selection of other snacks, vegan ice cream, and fun little trinkets I still need to try.
If you’re looking for gluten-free, dairy-free, or just straight-up delicious baked goods, Vegan Pastry Lab is a must....
Read more10/10! FINALLY made a trip on a Saturday afternoon and wow was it an experience!
It's a small space, but organized so well. There are shelves of snacks, candies, merch, candles and more! Along with trays of cakes, cookies and brownies. You can also order breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the #4 which is a sausage, egg and cheese with a hashbrown in between a croissant. Highly suggest it!
My sister and I were greeted by Jenn who is the sweetest! She gave us the rundown on everything in the store so of course I purchased a handful! The basil + amber candle is divine, I also loved the amor rollerball oil. For treats, we ordered the banana pudding (most popular), salted caramel cheesecake, hostess cupcake and jet black brownie. ALLLLL so good! It was cool to see regulars popping in and suggesting things for us to buy as well.
After willingly spending an hour here, we left excited that this place exists and ready to devour our food. Keep doing your thing...
Read moreI stopped by here after a long bike ride up 9w and so happy I did. Love finding all vegan spots. I got a blueberry muffin, chocolate chip cookie, brownie (not gf), and a chocolate crossaint. Best muffin I've ever had. Very moist on the inside with just the right amount of slight crisp on the outside and the berries were so flavorful. The brownie also great, cookie awesome, and the crossaint was the best I've had as well. Buttery, flakes, chocolate melted great. Y'all should be very proud. They were nice enough to let me bring my bike inside temporarily. It's maybe 10 mins off 9w (sage Johnson and a couple other streets is an easy ride. No outside seating or bike racks but shouldn't be a big deal to lean the bike outside or bring a friend.
They also have breakfast sandwiches and soft serve which I'll try next time.
Pricing was fair as well. Those 4 items were about 18 something.
So mix up your usually spot on 9w and...
