Liberty Square Shopping Center — Local services in Teays Valley

The issue with Liberty Square is simple: every anchor store has closed, and only one has been replaced (kinda). Hills died. It's replacement, Ames, died. IT'S replacement, Magic Mart, died and remains empty. Elder Beerman died and is empty. And Big Bear died and half of its old footprint is an Aldi, while the other half is occasionally a pop up seasonal store. Right now the most important tenant is a DMV branch, and the DMV sucks.

There are some free standing places within the general area that are okay, like Panera, but they're merely okay. All in all, not a fantastic...

Although there is a manned "Returns & Exchanges" desk to the right of the entrance up front, I was informed by the employee working at said desk AND her manager that they don't honor exchanges, and if you don't have a Circle account, or pay with cash, or don't have a receipt, you are screwed on a return. Who was at fault, item price, and date of purchase are irrelevant. My own negative experience aside, the general selection at this location is sparse and overpriced, save the make-up selection, which was vast, but...
