Game Grove — Local services in Teays Valley

A very friendly and amazing game store. Super helpful and wonderful. I am a part time wheel chair user and when I am in my chair they are always willing to help me either get things or to get in and out of the store. Aisle ways are wide and kept clear so when in my chair I can navigate around. The bathroom is big enough for me to get the chair in and turn it completely around. Super friendly and welcoming and real fun events on the regular. They make you feel more like family than a customer. War game group is welcoming to beginners and they helped with moving my stuff around the board since when I was in chair I couldn't reach all of the board. Passing through on a road trip and decided to check it out, best decision we could have made. We were instantly greeted by the most friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable individual at the counter who directed us to exactly what we were looking for. All the customers/regulars at the table were very welcoming as well, indicating how clearly the Game Grove fosters a warm, community-driven environment. We poked around and bought a few things, and upon checkout we were even invited to assist their PTCG tournament, which was super thoughtful, and made us sad because we live too far away to participate. We stopped by about a week ago on a trip through the area. It's right off the highway, a good location. The inside is bright, clean, and organized. They have a good selection of board games, card supplies, and hobby materials. The PC gaming lounge and large wargaming room encourage visiting to meet and engage in the local gaming scene. The owner was friendly and helpful and wanted to make sure we left satisfied. This is clearly a place that cares about doing things right, and a place that deserves your patronage if you are local or just happen to find yourself nearby.
