Target — Local services in Teays Valley

I like getting started on the hunt for Christmas presents early on. It just helps me to budget better! For my great grand nephew, it was decided that we would buy him Magna-Tiles for his birthday and Christmas. I was told that this Target in the Valley carried them. So, I hooked up with substitute mom, EM, and we went shopping (always more fun in pairs than alone😊!) As we walked in, two employees were available, Lexus and Lexi, and we asked them to direct us to the location of the Magna-Tiles. (Both EM and I had never been there!) In their hand held, they easily found the aisle. We browsed (and reminisced) and found Ailse F16, end-cap, the wished for items. This store is huge! Aisles were clean and mostly navigateable, except where restocking was going on. Also, found a gift for EM! After that, we decided we needed to get out of there - before we exploded our budgets 🤪🤣!!! Although there is a designated area for "Exchanges & Returns", I was informed by both an associate and a manager that Target does not do exchanges. I wanted to return a pair of pants that were a size small, but fit like an XL that I had purchased at the same store the previous week, but I did not have my receipt. I assumed I would, at the very least, be able to exchange them, since they were only $23 and sized incorrectly. I was wrong. I was refused a refund, exchange, or store credit, and told, verbatim, "sorry, there is nothing we can do. It reminded me why I don't shop at Target. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and the product selection is consistently under par and...

Much better quality and selection of products than the store location closest to my home that’s the location in Barboursville the 1 currently under repair. This store is so much Cleaner and Organized very Neat Appearance and the staff seem at least to be more enthusiastic or self starters when offering assistance to customers.
