Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church has become a beloved part of my life. Every time I visit, I walk away feeling uplifted and genuinely connected. The sermons are thoughtful and meaningful, and there's a real sense that the message resonates with the congregation.
What truly sets this church apart is the warmth of its people. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with friendly smiles and a spirit of welcome that feels sincere and comforting. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel at home here.
The dress code strikes a nice balance—some folks wear button-downs or even a tie, while others opt for a nice sweater and slacks. It’s not overly formal, and that adds to the comfortable, inclusive atmosphere.

When I told them that I found their info through google, instead of answering my question about the food bank that it shows that they have, the person directs me to another food bank. Not very nice people. I can’t believe this is a church. I’m black, and they could see I’m black bc I reached out to them on Facebook. So I don’t know if the dismissive replies were bc of my race or what, bc if multiple sites say you do food banks and you’re the closest one to me, why leave me on “seen” then 2 days later reply “211” then when I further ask more you give me info to...

Of course, having the backing of the courageous Catholic, Bishop Thomas Olmsted, one of the very best in the country, also helped. Wonderful parish. I love...
