They have enough variety available there everyone can always get and try something new and itās usually ends up being tasty overall so your not getting the same food all the time the food is actually very yummy usually and it hits the spot every time for it good food for it being a fast food sub shop the staff is cool and helpful sometimes cranky but it happens to the best of us regardless of staff attitude the food always tastes good in the end no complaints really from me personally because I always make them fix the problems with our food before I ever pay they have a hard time getting cheese melted but I just keep asking them to melt it till Iām happy because Iām not paying for a sub I wonāt eat because Iām usually just grabbing it and taking it home to get to bed early Iām not having to worry about making myself and everybody else food at home I have only maybe 1 times actually stayed and ate there at the shop but its not bad to stay and eat there it was a nice peaceful place to just chill and eat real fast without any issues because its always almost completely empty inside so it ends up being very quiet peaceful dining experience itās not a big place but big enough to enjoy staying and eating there everybodyās always in a rush headed to their next stop or home I would definitely recommend eating there I always just remember to tell everybody to watch how they make your food and have them fix it before you just purchase it and than get mad so you can enjoy a yummy sub whenever and wherever you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe sandwiches here always taste fresh and no complaints about the food but the staff is a different story. It seems like they have a high turnover rate here because the kids they hire never seem to like their job and usually have 0 customer service skills. They hire younger individuals, some look like teenagers and who have no idea how to treat customers. The few male employees are actually pretty nice and greet you and smile but the female employees here are horrific. One of them looked like she was high. The other day an African American female employee who is on the heavy side ripped the bread apart rather than slice it with a bread knife like she's supposed to, barely greeted me or acknowledged me, did a sloppy job with the veggies, and didn't say thank you at the end of it all. She seemed more concerned about rushing through my order to walk to the back and check on her phone and to gossip with another girl there who is also not very nice, she is Caucasian and very thin and pale with blue eyes. This is not the only unpleasant experience I have had here with the staff. Please hire more respectable staff....maybe some older people since these whipper snappers have absolutely no manners. Also the drink machine doesn't dispense well-mixed drinks, like the drinks are either too...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSaturday was a big night for me, and I found myself famished with only 15 minutes to drop in and pick something up.
In these troubled times, it's not easy for me to deal with Fast Food on the Corner, and menus tend to bewilder me. This neighborhood is between ASU and "Skid Row", so I was bracing for another uncomfortable experience, but Michael was there to put my mind at ease and we worked out a delicious wrap.
And it really was! I was so grateful to have a bite to eat; I'd gone down to Beach Park so it was a little picnic "in the rough" with a large crowd. And that chicken salad wrap was the tastiest thing I'd had all week.
It wasn't busy at Subway; the bathroom was accessible and clean and stocked; plenty of seating and a few other polite customers. Michael was doing well, especially considering everyone in this sector is short-staffed.
Thanks to Subway for being on practically every corner when I'm hungry and gotta get back...
