Read moreThis used to be a 7-Eleven and so the store is a bit small and the parking lot was quite full; I had to park farther away- social media has hyped up the store a bit. Coming in, the store was very crowded and busy. It's like a mini shopping mart, and to keep everything fit in- that does mean the aisles are narrow. They have an aisle with sweet snacks and another aisle for salty snacks. Also, they have a section of refrigerated drinks, and they have cold Korean deli and there's a hot deli section too where they cook the food and there's pre-made food. A lot of the snacks in the store however were American including chips and candies, but they did have some Korean ones mixed in- could be they are still stocking up as it's just a soft opening. There were long lines to checkout, just make sure for a best experience to avoid weekend afternoons when it's busy_ and this store is more so intended as a snack store where you can get something light. The nice thing though is the cashiers are very welcoming and also for soft opening you get 10% off your total. Also, there's tables to sit on to...
Read moreWell I couldn't be more excited or more happy that this little Korean market has opened up in our Tempe neighborhood... it's absolutely awesome. I'm Korean and was raised on all this stuff. The pricing is fair considering you're in the middle of Tempe so it's super convenient. They are well stocked with some great basic Korean Pantry things and more. Found raw marinated squid today which was such a yummy find! 😋 People that are complaining in the reviews that it cost too much don't appreciate the fact that this is the only Market in the middle of Tempe that you can get to on the dime for such items. I mean, that's why you are paying a little bit extra for the convenience. You don't have to walk through a huge Korean market if you just need to grab a thing or two. It's perfect. And besides where else can you heat up some quick Ramen and eat it if you want to??? No where!!! 😄 They got kimbap too. Korean sushi... yayyy!
I hope this Marketplace is here to stay. Nice service too......
