Website stated they closed at 4.30pm. I spent 3 days loading up my truck (that has a shell) full of donations. I drove from Buckeye all the way to Tempe and when i got there, the 2 guys at the donation drop off told me they were closing early that day and to come back the next day. They had things stacked up outside, so i didn't see why i couldn't leave my stuff there or just take the 5 minutes to accept the donation.
I ended up dropping off the stuff at another organization who were more than happy to accept my items. I won't be making that trip to Tempe again! Which is a shame as i run a business and have a lot of things i donate that are perfect for an...
Read moreI'm honestly REALLY glad I did not find this place until I was ready to retire and needed a place to DONATE things that I know will go to happy, educational homes and not into the trash. The last thing I would have needed is MORE cool things to add to my 6th grade classroom. (I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to send my husband with the donations, so I don't leave with more than I take since this is my last year in a classroom!)
BTW ... thank you to all you new teachers taking up the gauntlet. It's a challenging career, but I would not change the memories of the lives that have intersected mine over the past 37.5 years. Hang in there! A great teacher really IS...
Read moreI put 4 stars because I waited 10 minutes in line even though there was no one in front of me or being served at the register. Registers were down and checkout was exceptionally slow moving. When she almost got the register up she passed me and said next in line as if I wasn't standing there 10+ minutes already. They need to retrain or take really young or really old people off that role for efficiency.
Took way too long I almost left. With the injustices and white privilege issues we are facing today if you are white being intentional about not dismissing people of all races should be a focus! Besides these pet peeves good...
