Golden Eggroll — Restaurant in Tempe

Terrible management. Horrid delivery service. I called in takeout and paid by Credit card. Had to repeat my address 5 times. Food arrives, I was presented a cash receipt. With my credit card # written down on the back and asked to sign this! Wow! I called the restaurant, and was asked by confused cashier for my cc number 3 times. Finally I opted to leave my homework and drive down there in person so They could run my card manually... some delivery! I had to ask for the piece of paper with my cc # on it to. Be Given back To me...who wants that Floating around? Food was. Cold. By this. Time, and. I. Never found the vegetables in my vegetable. Lo mein...Sadly they didn't try to fix this or my inconvenience with apologies. Too bad, I Will never eat...

I sincerely don't understand where all of the 5 star reviews are coming from. Did you drive by the establishment and rate it for the Google Guide points?

Tried Golden Eggroll for the first time today and the food was absolutely terrible. I waited over an hour after being told it would be 30 minutes. I gave specific delivery instructions to come to the front of the house, not the back of the house. I ordered the Garlic Chicken. The chicken pieces were tiny and the dish overall tasted terrible. Decided to move on to the eggroll, which tasted mainly of Ginger. The 2 wonton chips included were stale and the sweet and sour sauce wasn't good either. The best part about the entire meal was the 32 oz Pepsi I ordered. Would not recommend, will not order...

I picked up dinner from here since it was on the route home from work. The dining room smelled BAD like a backed up toilet and looked dirty: stained carpet, greasy tables, unwashed walls. My order was 1 "large" chicken chow mein, 1 "large" pork fried rice, and 8pc crab puffs: total was $30+change. I was shocked when they brought it out and I saw how small the portions were, but I didn't want to waste time to argue abt it. The chow mein sauce tasted very bland, veggies were crunchy and raw, barely any chicken in it. The fried rice and puffs were ok. Overall an overpriced disappointment. Next time I will drive the 20 extra minutes to downtown phx where you can get more value for your $$ at certain chinese...
