Waffle House — Restaurant in Tampa

I've eaten at WAFFLE house's all over FL. & Georiga this one on Fowler ave is by far the most racist towards whites& Hispanics I've ever been in the waitresses are 90 % black & they just carry on hollering across the restaurant racial slures very hurtful to non black customers, the service was very bad the customers are predominantly black . The area is not safe homeless people panhandling in parking lot, their was a homeless perdon standing right outside the front door catching people coming & going asking for change. Management does nothing , the few white waitresses don't stand a chance their bullied right out I'm 59 yrs old a Tampa native born & raised here eaten at the one off highway 301, Wesley chapel, lakeland, new port richey, TARPON springs ,seffner never have I been so attended & in fear myself & my wife left our mea l their paid the check & left I truly hope this review gets to WAFFLE HOUSE corporate office since the lower management won't do anything about the problem. You shouldn't sell or deal drugs out of the rear...

This Waffle House is great! I am visiting from DC havnt been to a Waffle House in Fl in 20 yrs. They didnt disappoint! I was so happy when I entered and smelled that wonderful waffle! Nyoka greeted me with an awesome smile and welcome. Which made the experience even better. Jadalyn my server was patient, joyful and pleasant. The food was even better than I remembered. I want too give hugs and kisses to the cooks! My apologies for no pics...it was that good. Ms.Jackie is an inspiration, moves around that griddle with perfection and is a fabulous cook! I couldnt catch the other cooks name, but he was hard at work with his face mask on , cooking the food that was fresh, delicious, and filling! Thank you. Jenise is a very sweet hard workering lady! I will most certainly be back for breakfast again to Waffle House #96! This entire crew is great! Thanks for the chuckles and a wonderful...

Waffle House has always been one of my favorite places to go.

Honestly though, I just REALLLLLY wish I knew how this restaurant, more specifically THIS location has maintained an average 4-star rating. It just baffles me.

Every time I have ever come to this location, its horrible. Unfortunately, today's visit was no different. Three tables on the far left, blocked off and no seating. No social distancing whatsoever with their tables, no attention or care for cleanliness (ex; not even sanitizing tables after a customer leaves....yikes) and very obviously, no mask mandate. If there was a designated COVID breeding ground, this would be the spot.

7+ employees in the restaurant, and still, people are waiting for what feels like an eternity for their dine-in and to-go orders.

I wish I knew what time of day to come for better service because this was disgusting...
