Hello, I am going to tell you guys what I experienced this past Saturday from Jerk Hut on Fowler in Tampa. I ordered the large oxtails dinner cabbage rice and beans. I dropped my husband off to his daughter’s house and I had a few bites of my food. Immediately my stomach started churning but I’m not thinking it’s the food I’m thinking it’s from my drink I had or the coffee from breakfast. So by the time I made it home the food was still warm so I ate a few more bites because I only eat small portions at a time. A few minutes later I’m in the bathroom and my stomach is in knots and I’m hot all over my body. I’m weak and I can’t hardly see. I realized that I’m in trouble but I can’t get up. Finally I gain strength to make it to my bed and I’m trying to yell for help and call for help but I’m to weak plus I can’t see. My body is on fire and my cries are unheard because my room is so far from the other bedrooms. So I started praying and asking God to take the pain away and if it’s time for me to die, his will be done. I passed out. I woke up the next morning and the pain was gone but I was still weak. My husband said baby check the food today because I had put it in the fridge. The next day the food was so spoiled and stinking in my refrigerator I could smell it time I opened the fridge. I usually get a plate like that and can eat off of it for days. That food had to be bad when they gave it to me. I called them to tell them about my experience and the manager said she can replace the food, I said no thanks, I am scared to eat it again. She said she would call me back yesterday and I still haven’t heard from her. I plan to dispute the charge and never I mean never eat there again. I’m sharing this message because I would hate for this to happen to Anyone else. Eat at The Jerk Hut On Fowler in Tampa at your own risk! I will never ever eat there even if it was free. All praises to God. He heard my cry and saved my life. Food poisoning is serious. It was real hot inside like the Air Conditioner...
Read morecame here for the first time , and ordered cabbage , plantains , rice , coco bread and extra jerk sauce . they forgot the plantains and gave me some type of soup is what they called it. Chicken soup. they also gave me some sort of red sauce for jerk sauce which I didn’t even bother to complain after the interaction. I came back the next day to get my plantains and show them what they gave me and the front desk customer service was like oh did you call I said no , she explained they had a policy about calling , and checking the bag I told her that no one explained that to me. She said she didn’t know what could be done and she’ll go get the manager. The manager some off blaq guy came out and another person ordering food joked with him about how I had been waiting for thirty mins on some plantain and if he was Jamaican this wouldn’t had happened. And the manager responded good thing I’m not. So he took me outside and while we walked out there another staff of the store followed and listened close by. The manager said we don’t make this soup where did you get it from I said the counter last night, and I showed the receipt HE KEPT TELLING ME THEY DONT MAKE THAT SOUP. Then the other staff member jumped in and said yeah I made that last night it’s chicken soup. And he was like just ok. I know they made that soup the person right next to me the night before got the same thing , I thought it was some type of speciality like the red sauce . Anyways he’s like well what didn’t you get the manager still I said the plantains . And he explained the whole check your bag policy and the other staff bought me out the plantains which were horrible by the way way to soggy. I ordered some more coco bread which was good and cabbage. But this is a NO for me how are Jamaican and don’t have good customer service or people who aren’t even Jamaicans and are proud to say that . I wish the real Jamaicans would come back and...
