Mike's Gold Buyers — Local services in Temple

I believe I was ripped off (perhaps accidentally). I brought 20 ounces of silver (two 10 oz bars) on 5/8/23, the spot price was $25.53, and I was given $202.44 for both bars or Mike's rate at $10.12 per ounce. My fault for not realizing until I got home, as I was thinking I was getting $202 for each bar, not total. I called to ask why the large delta and it was explained to me "that's what the computer calculated." Employee Mi* handled my transaction and took the call.

Previously, on 4/17/23, I had brought 22 ounces of silver (two 10 ounce bars, one 1 oz bar, and one 1 oz round). Closing spot price on that day was $25.04, I was given $459.98 for my silver, or Mike's rate of $20.90 per ounce. I thought that was very fair. Employee B** handled my transaction that day.

Lesson for me regarding the 5/8 transaction: don't be in a rush to do this kind of business before I need to go to work. I should've waited until the weekend when my mental plate was clear to notice the discrepancy immediately before signing anything.

I would appreciate a response from Mike's on this situation. I'm aware that we're punching numbers into a database front end but is it possible I was given a rate for junk silver or...

NAT who I had the extreme pleasure of dealing with, was the nicest, most understanding, kindest, sweetest person I've met in a long time and the level of transparency here was AMAZING. Sellers beware, this company will rip you off. Go else where!!! I went to this business to sell some silver today. The individual working here was deceptive and contradictory. I asked first off how much they were paying per Troy ounce of silver, replied spot price $32.55. Weighed my silver .9999 Ag and proceeded to offer $13.02/oz. I asked why the difference in what was initially discussed, because it’s what the computer says. Could not address the difference in spot other than their margins.
