Boone made an amazing restoration on my granny’s 1943 hope chest. It had at least 3 layers of paint over the original stain. It had a few veneer issues and minor issues from having been moved around the United States. I having re-stained furniture in the past I gave it a valiant try and soon turned to 3:23’s expertise. Boone repaired all the dings and damage and stained it with an ebony stain and matte finish. The finished item actually brought tears.
