Shopping at Hobby Lobby While BLACK. I wanted to get a couple of pictures professional framed. This was my first time in a Hobby Lobby Store. Initially, no worker was at the area. When she did arrived, she did not acknowledge me or say hello. When I spoke to her and told her I am interested in getting my pictures matted and frame, 2 men came over and she stated to me that they were here before me. No one was when I arrived, but that's fine, I let that go. When those two men left, she walked passed me to attend to another customer who came up and she addressed him and asked if he needed help! When she was close to finishing ringing him up. I asked her if there was a problem, because you told me that I was behind the two men who were there, then you walk pass me and address this customer who was after me. She then stated that it was a crazy day and the two man initially wanted them to frame it and decided to do it themselves. Of course, this explanation did not address what I asked her. Because there isn't many options in Terre Haute, I decided to get two pictures instead of one professional matted and framed.

Read moreI went to return fabric today. I had the original receipt and the unused fabric in hand. I go in and am told it needs remeasured to be sure nothing has been cut, totally fine! A few minutes later, a rude employee tells me “we don’t even recognize this fabric and you don’t have your fabric ticket” so she expects me, a customer, to look through their 100s of fabric because it “doesn’t look familiar?” I go back and find it within a few minutes. I explain it was $6.99 and 30% off, making it $4.89 a yard, totaling out $9.78 AS STATED ON MY RECEIPT. I get told they can’t accept the return because I don’t have the fabric ticket? What?? I read the return policy on the website and the receipt itself. Never does it state I needed the fabric ticket. I speak to the manager, who is also rude to me, and tells me I cannot return the item. I’m fuming. I thankfully called corporate and immediately was called back to issue my refund. I was not apologized to by the manager for the way it was handled, and I had to have some poor new girl issue my return. I am very saddened because I love Hobby Lobby and shop there often, but this was...

They always have well-stocked shelves, helpful staff, and they keep very pleasant music playing at a level that's not annoyingly loud (I think we've all been shopping somewhere the music is just WAY too loud, right? It's distracting.) Last time I was here I got a start on my Christmas shopping by buying some gift cards. Unfortunately, they got thrown away by mistake!
