Books-A-Million — Local services in Texarkana

I visit this establishment quite often, I have noticed that alot of the packages are empty and when I come across them I turn them in immediately of course, but you think these isles get looked at and organized more by the employees? I love the coffee they serve here it's amazing I prefer black coffee, even settled for a cold cup at closing aha, I've even tried their sweet treats with so many exotic desserts it's always hard to choose, iv only ever really encountered a single bad experience here and that was when I went to the restroom and as I was about to wash my hands I noticed the soap box that goes in the dispenser was just lying their out of it's case, I easily figured out how to open the dispenser and put it back in and it wasn't really an trouble but again why are the employees not keeping up with this stuff, or better yet how did an employee not know how to put a soap box into a dispenser when it took myself all of 2 seconds to find the button to open it....it's off but it's a very quaint store with an amazing coffee...

Lady offered 3 free magazines to be sent to my house. Assumed it was complementary to the purchase I made so I initially agreed. Asked me for a lot of personal information and for my signature, also was talking very quickly like she was trying to rush me. Figured there was a catch before signing so I asked her if it was a subscription service of some sort. She lied to my face and said it wasn't. I only figured out after signing it WAS a subscription when I inspected the brochure I was handed more closely. Initial magazines are free but after couple of months they start charging you. I went back to her and said I don't want to do this. She said it was too late but she can email me a way to cancel the next day. Have not gotten that email and don't think I will. I don't think you should blatantly lie to customers and trick them to subscribe to a service...

The selection of books is great, but this place is disgusting as far as cleanliness, the carpet is gross and me and my daughter went a few days ago because she loves it and she needed to use the bathroom, talk about a place where you could get a disease gross the toilets had urine and poop all in them there were 4 stalls I believe and not one was clean looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a week, there was ZERO toilet paper and the sinks had a disgusting thick layer of wet dirt all the way around the faucets. It was the most disgusting bathroom I have ever been in needless to say we had to leave so my child could us the bathroom because I wasn't about to let her us it there! I took pictures I would love to post them but I don't see...
