Texarkana Convention Center — Attraction in Texarkana

I stay here frequently- every few months. The staff is helpful and always friendly. The rooms and bed are consistently fine. Sometimes a lamp doesn’t work. Location is near decent restaurants. There’s always parking. Fridge and coffee maker in the room. I’ll continue to stay here.

Complaints- the conference rooms are always freezing. I have to wear sweaters and coats in the middle of summer to be just partially comfortable. When I stay multiple nights, they throw away the soap bar and replace it every day. That seems wasteful and unnecessary. Finally, even though their restaurant doesn’t serve lunch, they won’t let us have lunch delivered to our meeting from an outside vendor. Our family go to Hotel,💥 My 5th stay here! But this time was not so good!! I experienced some incidents that wasn't so pleasing. I walk into the Manager and desk clerk having a conversation about me. "Akward" had me feeling some what uncomfortable Then at check in I was told that due to Covid -19 Housekeeping would not be cleaning our room daily unless we request!!! But as my husband and I lay and rest barely dressed''' we here a knock at the door''' Announced Housekeeping!! Before I could get to door ! He was coming inside! A gorgeous hotel! Recently remodeled and it is fabulous! It is decorated in up-to-the-minute decor. All the finishes and colors that you find in current decor magazines. I don't want to leave! We checked in and brought our luggage to our room with a luggage cart. After unloading the cart, we took a few minutes to change our clothes. When we left our room not more than 5 minutes later, our luggage cart had been retrieved by the front desk. That's a level of service I didn't expect! Kudos to the staff...
