Awful, condescending, like talking to a brick wall.
I took a mechanical/automatic watch in for repair and explained the problem to an employee who took my contact info and the watch. She let me know it may be a couple of weeks before the repair could be completed, which was perfectly fine. This employee was a pleasure to deal with.
The problem with the watch was that the manual/hand-winding mechanism needed to be fixed. I felt a lot of resistance/grinding when hand-winding, so much that it felt like the watch mechanism might break. The automatic winding function (the movement of your wrist winds the watch) was working properly, and the watch was running fine as long as I wore it. But if I let it sit for a few days, it would run out of power and stop (which is perfectly normal). To start the watch again, it needs to be hand-wound (which is done with the crown), or shaken (which engages the automatic winding function). Again, the hand-winding function needed to be repaired.
A few days later, they called and let me know that the watch was functioning properly. The employee told me that since the watch has an automatic movement, there is no hand-winding function. They offered to give me a lesson on how to operate the watch (I found this condescending because I know exactly how to operate the watch and explained this to the first employee who accepted the watch). I tried once again to explain the problem over the phone, but the employee either could not understand, or didn’t believe me when I said the watch could be hand-wound. I simply could not make them understand.
I then went to pick up the watch and tried to explain exactly what was happening, but they (two employees, one was perhaps an owner or manager) insisted that I was mistaken and that the watch could not be hand-wound. I could not convince them otherwise. I know with 100000% certainty that the watch can be hand-wound, as I researched the watch before purchasing, have the owner’s manual, and have wound it a few times per month over the past four years.
When I left, I knew that they still didn’t believe me. I felt as if the two employees thought I was either a liar or an idiot.
The condescension I experienced was disgusting and I would never recommend anyone to shop at this store.

Read moreI was so excited to get my wedding band and engagement ring repaired. I haven't been able to wear them in a while. Both rings needed to be resized and with some diamonds missing and a broken band, my engagement ring needed the most repair. They let me know it'd take a week for repair. That's a reasonable time frame of you ask me. A few days early of when I expected it to be finished, I got a call saying it was ready. Score!! Due to being out of town, a couple of days later I went to pick it up. I was stoked to be able to wear my like-new rings again. I go in to pick up the rings and they inform me that my engagement ring was too worn and too thin to repair. I was disappointed and held back tears at the jewelry counter. The ladies working there did offer suggestions of how to salvage some of the pieces of the sentimental ring. I appreciate that. I don't blame the jeweler, it wasn't his fault it couldn't be repaired. I just wish when they called to tell me my rings were ready that they would have explained that only the wedding band had been repaired, that way I would have known what to expect. My wedding band was resized, polished and fits perfectly. I'm so happy with it. If you've read this far, I suppose you're wondering if I'd choose Cooper Fine Jewelers again for jewelry repair. Yes, I would, I'd just make sure to ask questions when told my jewelry is ready...
Read moreI purchased my husband wedding band here. Great customer service inside the store. On another hand, I am not pleased with the staff member of Ms. KAY!!! Very unprofessional and On countless times she has taking money out of my account without my consent. I have told her and staff that I will call and make my payments even if it's past my date I will call and make my payments. When I questioned her about why she keeps taking money out of my account without my consent. She said it was because I was passed due and I didn't respond to a text from her. Legally I did not give her permission to take these funds out of my account. I told her when I set up the arrangement that I will call on January 5th to make my payment. Yet again she took money out my account without my consent. Then she had the nerve to argue with me and be very disrespectful in a manner where I will never do business with this company nore refer anyone to Cooper fine jewelry. Very unprofessional and nasty attitude from Kay!!!! This is the 4th time she has done this. I will now move forward with...
