First, called in to place the order, lady who answered repeated the order back twice. Prior to ordering, asked about the chicken tinga quantity, to which we were told it was a large portion. So we proceeded to order. Told us 15 mins.
We got there about 18 mins later, went to pay "they forgot" the chicken tinga, had to wait another 30 mins.
After finally getting the order, asked about salsa for the tacos, was told it was right there in the bag.
Got home to: Warm chicken tinga and a portion a 7 year old would consume (I live less than 5 mins away)
No salsa what so ever.
What makes this the most upsetting, is there was 2 customers in the store. Had this been during an extremely busy dinner time, it could be a bit more understandable (aside from the not so hot food and small portion)
EDIT: Since the owner wants to add false information, I'll redo this with further proof (once I get to my other phone I'll add the phone record as well)
My original order was with tinga nachos, repeated back multiple times over the phone prior to arrival. I specifically asked how large the portion for the tinga was as that was specifically my meal, she told us it was a large portion (which is a lie) therefore, that is why I asked for it. Lies just makes this one star and whatever other 1 stars you get well deserved.
"After store hours" why is your store labeled till 2am, but yet you said I "arrived after store hours" If your kitchen was "closed" your staff shouldn't have taken the order over the phone to begin with and should have...
Read moreEdited due to owner response. If pick up time state 7:01 pm. Then that's is the pick up time. The owner just stated he need 25 mins to prepare the order, but still to 45 mins. I counted 5 tables of customers. If you can't handle minimum work flow and prepare food timely manner, please retain your self. And another point the owner made. If you are having dinner with your family during dinner rush, then why have the doors open for business if customer service is not first. It doesn't matter if it a order Togo or in house order.
Never in my life I had to wait 49 mins for a to go order. I arrived at 7:01pm, they stated 15 minutes to get the food ready. Still sitting there, counting the 5 tables, and 20 people in the restaurant. I asked after 20 minutes past, food not ready, need 15 minutes. So I noticed it's 4 waiters and 3 cooks. But yet basic Mexican food is not done. Its only tacos, fries, beans and a chicken sandwich. 15 minutes goes by and the food not ready. One of the waiters was siting with her family and helping to serve herself and from the food that should served to tables. Finally, my food is done and bagged up ready to go. I finally left at 7:50pm. Mexican food never takes longer than 10 min, even when busy. Is the owner read this, then review your cameras and count the minutes i sat at the front door waiting for a prepaid,...
Read moreThe fajitas were good. However, there were chicharrons in the frijoles. That was really gross. Never have seen that before at any Mexican food restaurant. Guacamole was NASTY!! I think it had too much vinegar. Not sure why you would put vinegar in guacamole. I had to go home and brush my teeth and rinse with mouthwash to get the taste out of my mouth. When getting our check the waiter, who was not that great either, must be new, told us there was a charge for the tortillas of $1.99. HUH!! how can you eat fajitas without tortillas. He said that is why the corn quesadillas were on your plate. Well we didn't get any corn tortillas. WE REFUSED TO PAY $1.99 for FLOUR TORTILLAS WHICH SHOULD COME WITH THE FAJITAS. There were 4 of us, so that would have been $8.00 worth of tortillas. Now if we ordered extra tortillas that would have been okay. We will definitely NOT BE GOING BACK...
