Shear Attitudes Hair Salon — Local services in Thornapple Township

I have long, healthy hair. I take care of my hair, and rely on a stylist for professional color and highlights. I expressed that I needed someone good and confident with color. I provided a picture for the color I was trying to achieve. Once finished, my hair had extensive hotspots, bleeding, lines throughout, and distinctive root of about a 1/4 inch from my scalp. I asked them to fix it, which they were willing to do, and they asked for pictures because they didn’t know how they were going to fix it. I sent pictures and set an appointment. I worried that the same girl who created the issue was going to have problems correcting it as well. I called a couple days before my appointment to see how she was going to fix it. She had no idea and only offered to “weave in more color” because she didn’t know what I was upset with. I tried to be patient and understanding, but they didn’t seem to care at all. Yesterday was my first visit to Shear Attitudes. I was able to book online and the process was quick and easy. My stylist was Samantha and she did an amazing job! I came in with uneven color and Samantha was very attentive to what I was hoping to accomplish. She was friendly, very polite, knowledgeable, and informative during my visit.
