We did Darkade and Purgatory. Of the 2 locations we have done 2 each. Crematorium and corkscrewed at the other location. This location offers the much more interesting rooms comparatively.
Darkade is perfectly themed and the clues and solutions are all on point with said theme. Love the design of the room and the transition. 10/10 for their "easier" room
Purgatory is their hardest room and the 2 of us needed 3 hints to solve it. When you enter it can be very intimidating due to its seeming simplicity, but it is anything but simple. The theming is good for the name. I really like all the mechanical switches. Regular keys and locks bore me. 9/10
We plan to do all the rooms here at some point. The builder seems to have hit his stride at...
Read moreOk if it’s your first escape room but for anyone that has done 2 or more I would recommend skipping this facility or at the least don’t do Pop Star Revenge. It’s rated difficulty of 4 of 5. It’s a linear first generation escape room meaning it’s almost all locks. Codes to locks are sophomoric and don’t tie in to the them. Often you open one lock and the contents give you the code for the next lock. Our team of three got out with 24 minutes to go. That’s about $3 per min. So not worth it. To be fair we have not done the other rooms. But sold to us as their most popular most challenging room I cringe at the idea of doing the...
Read moreMe and my husband love both locations. We go often and absolutely have fun. What made me decide to finally post about our experience, was the owner (I believe) that met us once we escaped our game today. He gave us some fun feedback about how we did compared to other groups (we didn't mind the flattery!) and asked about how we felt about some of the puzzle mechanics and what may have made them too confusing. We felt that the owner cared so much about his craft, and that he always wanted to improve and it made us feel valued as customers as well. We have been going for a while and will keep coming back until we run out of...
