Terrible Experience. We arrived and were told it would be an hour wait, which was fine, that was expected as it was a Saturday night. We walked around the mall and came back after an hour right on time. The host took us to our table and the three of us sat down. All three of us are servers to by habit we start clocking the time until our server greets us. 17 minutes go by, and nothing. One of us goes up to the host stand, and while she is up there talking the the host our server magically appears. We could finally order our drinks, we of course ordered our friends drink as she was up at the host stand inquiring on our servers whereabouts. The server came back with our drinks a few minutes later and then asked if we were ready to put out order in. We indeed were. We gave the server our appetizer order and our entree orders. After the server left the table to put the order in we all realized our server was probably going to mess it up and put the entire order in at the same time, vs putting in the appetizer first then entree. SURE enough, food runners (not our server) bring out the appetizers, and legitimately 3 mins later the entrees (which are cold) are brought out. By now we are starving and choose to eat the food, and luckily we chose to do so because our server did not come once to check on us or we would have told him of the issue with our food. We had been needing refills for awhile, but the server had not come back since taking our entree order. Our other friend went to the host stand to let her know we need drinks, we've needed refills for quite sometime and then asked for a manger to bring up the issues and terrible service. The manager named Tricia could care less. She said she the server had to run to his car for a moment as the excuse for him being gone for the entire course of the meal essentially. All of the sudden people appeared to refill our drinks, keep in mind these were bussers, and food runners, and a completely different server got boxes for us because we were over the entire meal and experience at that point. I asked for the manager this time to come to the table. Tricia came over and I explained everything in detail to her, and how I truly hoped that this was the servers very FIRST day ever working as a server. In the middle of me explaining and educating the manager on everything that went wrong she took the receipt from the table and walked away mid sentence of me speaking to her. She came back with a 20% discount applied to the bill. At this point I was more enraged. The entire meal should have been taken care of. We planned to get cheesecake after our meal at the beginning of arriving to the restaurant but as this point we wanted out and to leave. Keep in mind our server had still not once come to check on us. We are waiting at the table to pay, and still no server in sight to pay. We decided we would go up to the host stand and pay. The three of us start to get up, and guess who MAGICALLY appears from no where. Our so called server who we hadn't seen since taking our entree order. He took our cards and processed payment and we couldn't have been happier to get out of that place! I've never left a place so fast in my entire life. I'd say to go elsewhere. There are better restaurants with managers that actually care about the guests and don't let their manager status get to there head. I stopped by the restaurant the next day after work to verify the managers name was Tricia to make sure I had the correct name. LUCKILY upon walking into the restaurant, manager Tricia was sprawled out hunched over the side of the host stand table area, leisurely lounging there with no resemblance of how a manager should act and handle themselves as they are supposed to be the role model for other employees. This location with Tricia as a manger is terrible. She fueled a terrible experience and handle the entire situation incorrectly and terribly. I highly urge you to eat elsewhere until manager Tricia is relived of her position, or is demoted to a busser and earn her way back to holding a...
Read moreLet me begin to say its an incredibly busy restaurant. At the beginning upon entry the disorganization was so bad you couldn't even see where to get seat or atleast wait for a table. As we waited and were then buzzed for our table we waited about 5 minutes with no response from the person that had asked for our seating only took the buzzer from us and was all nothing else. But our hostess was very nice and seated us quite quickly. Our server was great no complaints he was incredibly helpful, so the service after being seated was great, but then the food came around. I ordered the shrimp scampi and chicken Madeira and in my opinion could not believe a plate would be served with so much smashed potatoes like almost half of the plate was just that. Then the shrimp scampi was served in a set of 3 shrimps, the shrimps themselves had no flavor until i tried covering them as much as possible in the sauce they were served with, and to top it off the scampi had no pasta, which traditionally should. Disappointed and after eating only 1 of 3 shrimps i moved to try the chicken and was a thin piece of breast served with 2 pieces of asparagus and several mushrooms with a delicious sauce, but the chicken portion was incredibly small and expected more for the dollar price of 22.95, but after 2 bites found something was wrong. I examined the chicken pulling it apart with 2 forks and found my chicken was still raw this made me mad knowing the fact that i could get ill from eating raw chicken. Lastly i tried the cheese cake... a slice of pumpkin cheese cake and no complaints it was very delicious, but thats all. The CheeseCake Factory in my opinion only is good when serving cheese cake. I still payed for a party of 2 and payed 81.30 for the food. And then i opened my leftovers box which have contained a lot of my food because i did not to eat much of it and could not believe that i had less leftovers, like why exactly would they give me less of my food back? Will never recommend at all and will never be coming back because of the quality of food they serve. -September 23, 2017
Update September 24, 2017 6:43am I come to wake up at 3:34 in the morning to find myself sick to my stomach and ran to the restroom where i vomited for almost 5 minutes. I only ate here yesterday, so I'm 100% sure i got food poisoning and will be seeing my doctor as soon as possible.
Update: Allow me to say that after all this the company came in contact with and spoke on the behalf of the situation. They were unhappy that i had gotten sick and were very thankful for how i reacted to the situation. I did not complain at all while i was at the restaurant and spoke with others about my experience first before contacting or being contacted after the review. I explained that the food wasn't to my liking, but i did not want to say anything because i as well work in the food business and sometimes we are in a rush to get the entrees out and can't satisfy as many as fast, but i still make sure that no food comes out undercooked, but mistakes happen and I'm very thankful for them contacting me and just will look to making sure this doesn't happen again because i would hate someone to take this farther then it should. I got sick for a day and had a stomach ache for 2 days, but oh well im not dead so its not the end of the world. As well like always i never allow the food to ruin a servers day because they are not the chef, so i still tipped for the really good service. I will be trying it out again and sometime in the future trying a different entree and giving them...
