I shopped for a pair of Fine Jewelry earrings online and made the purchase online for pickup in my local Macy's store. The site is relatively easy to navigate, and I figured out how to filter to see only merchandise at my local store, since I needed to have the earrings the next day, which was my 11th wedding anniversary. They had a terrific sale with jewelry reduced by 70% off regular prices. When I picked up the earrings that evening, they looked exactly as billed online, and the pickup process was simple. The jewelry associate in the store was very helpful and assisted me in concealing them from my wife, since she was with me, but elsewhere in the store. The only issue we had was one of the earring pushbacks was loose and, sure enough, the next night we lost it. It's a minor issue that we can replace with other pushbacks she has, or we can work out a resolution directly with Macy's. All in all, I recommend Macy's online shopping experience, since it offers you the option to have a broader array of merchandise delivered directly to you, as well as picking up store merchandise hours after...
Read moreDuring our recent trip to California for Spring Break, my family (husband (an Airman), daughter, mother (Govt Retiree), and I (Educator) had the opportunity to visit this lovely mall. We enjoyed shopping without any issues until we entered Macy's to browse the women's shoes and jewelry section. Shortly after, a security guard began his mission to follow us. Itâs disheartening in 2025 to experience this, especially as an African American family who is educated, hardworking, and believes in the American Dream.
While I understand the importance of security measures and the need to monitor shoppers through cameras, it is uncomfortable and unfair to be racially profiled in this manner. Itâs disappointing that, despite our efforts to live respectfully and contribute positively to society, we are treated with suspicion based solely on the color of our skin.
We deserve the same dignity and comfort as any other shopper, and such experiences should not diminish the enjoyment of simple activities like shopping. Racial profiling undermines the inclusive environment we all strive for....
Read moreThis review is for their perfume section. a) poor selection of perfumes. Very basic at minimum. b) lack of testers. I mean... you sell perfume that I can't even smell? How am I suppose to buy it? Blindly? c) extremely poor knowledge of products and perfumes on staff's part. If you are an associate that stays behind perfume counter, aren't you suppose to educate yourself at least on basics of perfume world, of what selection you have, on fragrances and smells and on how to smell the perfume??? Every question I had was met with a sheepish smile and "Oh, I don't know" answer. What kind of perfumes do you like? Oriental flower smells. What can you offer me? I don't know... we have ... this nice perfume... Hmmm... well, "this nice perfume" has very distinct powdery sweet smell, which is a far cry from oriental notes of sandalwood, amber etc. (Headlights expression). Will not come back to this place EVER! I might as well buy my perfumes blindly, on-line, based on reviews and info from...
