Sbarro The Oaks — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

This is a below average location for the sbarro company to be honest because every time I come here the pastas are dried out and do not look fresh nor do the pizza slices unless you get here pretty early around opening time and My visit here today was very disappointing. I ordered the baked ziti and one of the employees who is a cook and had an apron on came over to serve me, and Instead of giving me a fresh piece of baked ziti with cheese and everything on top of it how you’re supposed to serve it, he gave me all of the hard pieces that were left over from the corner where they had fallen from previous customers pasta. On top of that, the pasta was mushy and watery, and did not have enough cream or ricotta in it, which it usually does at every other Sbarro location I go to . I was highly disappointed and I really don’t think I will ever return again which is sad because some of the employees are nice , the food is just not well prepared. Maybe if they hire a different cook it would turn out better. given how unprofessional he was while serving me that pasta I don’t know how he even is employed as a cook there that is not standard procedure to give a customer leftover hard scraps in the corner rather than a fresh piece that is sitting right in...

Horrible service. Can’t understand why people work customer service if they hate dealing with customers. Super rude, don’t greet anyone. They’ll let you stand there like an idiot until you say something. I asked if they had any pepperoni pizza and the male just bluntly said no so I asked how long because he didn’t tell me and he said they just opened even though it had been an hour since opening and they couldn’t even give me a wait time. These workers would rather turn down service than deal with it. This place should just shut down honestly. It’s managed so horribly. Customer service is horrible every time I come. As a customer service worker myself this is embarrassing...

I came into the mall drunk and hungover af. I looked around and tbh no food was worthy of a “hangover cure” but, out of the corner of my eye I saw what appeared and smelled to be pizza. I approached the counter and spoke with Gabriel. He was very compassionate of my hangover and offered to make me a fresh yummy, delicious, scrumptious “chef special pizza”. The pizza was so good it cured my hangover over. Gabriel was Jesus in that moment curing my illness with one great pizza. Thank you Gabriel. You will forever have a place...
