I would like to acknowledge a true dedication and a strong work ethic of Brian, a tall gentleman who was working in the international foods section last night (11/18/23). While shopping, I picked some products in other store departments that were too heavy to carry in a shopping basket. When I was in the food department, I asked Brian if there was any empty cart available nearby. He asked me to wait and brought me a cart all the way from the front of the store. I was completely flattered and speechless. Couldn't thank him enough. Before I thought of shaking his hand to thank him for the service, he was the one that extended his hand first! Small gestures can really make a positive impact on your shopping experience and your day a lot brighter! I shared the story with the store manager who told me he would give him points (I'm assuming it's some sort of performance-based incentive system) but I think Brian needs to be recognized more than that. I hope somebody from the corporate office reads my comment and gives this man a proper recognition he deserves for his act of...
Read moreMeijer in Three Rivers, Michigan has amazing employees. Several go above and beyond even without help that pertains to Meijer. I was helped by 4 employees when I lost my car keys. The employees even stayed past their work shifts to help me look for the keys. The made phone call for me because I am deaf. The calls were Very Long. Three calls at least to get me a company to come unlock my car door. This happened at between 2300, perhaps beginning at 2200, until 0130, either the night before Thanksgiving or two nights prior. I do not want to leave any if these excellent attentive extremely kind and caring names out. The lady that worked the customer service desk was so caring! I cannot recall her pretty name, unfortunately. The manager, Amber, if I recall her name, also stayed over to help me. Dean, and Lane ( or Dane). Lane went outside and waited with me until help arrived. He did not wear his coat, gloves etc. It was freezing out. Like below zero, it felt like. Kudos to these exceptional employees!! They deserve a huge bonus!!! Thank you so much. Sincerely, God...
Read moreThis is a very good store to shop for your meats and fruits compared to my Tr Walmart. Just beware at night. It's plain as day that you will be stereotyped if your African American compared to an Caucasian. We went in to grab To bags of maxi pads at around 10:30pm the only lanes open was the self check outs with the belts and with out the belts. The cashiers that was at the self check out non belts walked away from the Caucasian customer who walked up to check out the same time as my husband and I, and came and started fidgeting with items on the lane in front of us and the one behind us. We checked out in the self check out lane with the belt. Neither said hello, did you find what you needed, they just made it obvious because we were black they came to watch us. While the Caucasian customer checked out from by where they were...
