This was by far the filthiest hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in. I understand Super 8 isn’t a luxury chain, but this place has completely given up on even basic cleanliness and safety. From the moment we walked in, it smelled old and musty. The lobby was dated, dingy, and depressing (and still had Christmas decor up). Then we saw the pool. Beyond filthy. You couldn’t even see the second step, it was that cloudy and neglected. As someone who maintains their own pool, I can say with full confidence: that water was swimming in bacteria and god knows what else. The second floor reeked of mold, mothballs, and what smelled like cat urine. It was so bad they had a dehumidifier running in the hallway, and even that wasn’t enough to keep the stench down. Our first room was filthy, and the door didn’t lock. Safety hazard #1. We were given a second room, and as soon as we walked in, the overwhelming smell of mold and mothballs was so intense that my son actually vomited. That’s how bad it was. We went back down to the front desk. Th attendant acted completely unbothered by the situation, as if this was routine. We were reluctantly given a third room, and this is where it became downright revolting: There was dried feces on the air conditioning unit. I wish I were exaggerating. But yes, actual feces. See attached photos. There was also dust and grime everywhere, no battery in the smoke detector, and people lying in the hallway and shouting. To top it off, instead of repairing the original room’s broken lock (which is a serious safety issue), they simply reassigned it to someone else. Bottom line: This place is a public health hazard. Super 8, you should be ashamed. Cleanliness and safety aren’t luxury features—they’re the bare minimum. Do yourself and your family a favor, stay literally anywhere else.

I would have given 5 stars except for a few things. I think they purposefully gave me a double room and over charged me. I've worked in the hotel business before and there are rooms saved for people who register online and are more likely to leave an online review. I came in the early hours of the morning, heavily pregnant, with only a bookbag and a plastic grocery bag, obviously exhausted, dirty and had recently been crying. The room I was given had a broken TV, a broken mini fridge that ruined my food and a broken plate in the microwave that I was charged extra for. I was initially charged an extra $25 dollar fee for anything that I might break or ruin. I was told I would be charged an extra 25 for the microwave plate and they would put the original 25 I paid at check in, back onto my card. They did not. As soon as I got the room and realized I was probably being judged and purposefully put in a less desirable room, I locked my card. Thankfully I did that because they attempted to charge me another 60 with no explanation. Other than that, the room was clean, my visit was peaceful, and there was a hella cute and hella fat whistlepig that I had a spectacular view of. 1 extra star for the whistlepig. Room 204 in case you get the microwave plate thing done to you.

First thing I check is the bed and sheets. That's clean, newly washed linens. But then I noticed all the dirty fingerprints on many things! Nothing had been wiped down (desk, arms on the desk chair, lamps, microwave, towel rack in the bathroom... they all looked like whoever stayed before had dirt, food, and who knows what else on their hands) and lots of dust on everything. The window had mold around it. The toilet was dirty!!

My wife and I were traveling through on our way back home from a road trip and stayed at this Super 8 and we were less than pleased with our stay. The checked in at a little after 8:00 and everything was fine here. When we walked into our room it was a little musty smelling (this should have been clue number one), but it wasn't too bad. We settle in for the night and starting at about midnight the periodic loud clicking begins coming from the AC/Heat unit. It will go for a few minutes, then stop, and then will start up about the time we started to drift back off. We try to find out what is causing the noise (including unplugging the unit), but can't find anything. This continues until we just give up on sleeping at 3:00am and just pack up and leave. When I dropped off the room keys, the person at the desk couldn't care less about the issue and said that he would have maintenance check into it in the morning...It would have been nice to have at least part of the room discounted. Before we leave I walk around back to look at the AC unit and discover that the unit above is the culprit as it is dripping onto the unit for our room causing the loud clicking (and I assume the musty smell in the room as the water was running back towards the room). To add insult to injury when I checked my account later on they had double charged us for the room. We called the corporate customer service number and they corrected that issue, but we still ended up paying full price for a room that we couldn't sleep in...not happy at all with this specific hotel. BTW- The super8 that we stayed in the night before was a much...

I rarely leave a bad review, so understand the situation has to be dire for that to happen. First of all, we arrived late and tried to get a room and were overcharged. The listed price online shows around $80, I was charged $110 for a single night and a $50 deposit. Upon trying to sign in, the attendant checking me in said that their computer system wasn't working and I would have to pay cash. Luckily I had it on me because if I didn't we wouldn't have had a place to stay for the night. They also had a sign clearly displayed on the front door that said animals not allowed unless it was a service animal. My partner has a service animal and when I brought that up, the attendant told me that they did not allow service animals. However, there happened to be another customer sitting in the front room, who stated that they do allow service animals there, and that her neighbor in the hotel has one. The attendant then changed his story and allowed me to continue booking. Once we were in the room, I noticed right away that the room was not clean. The drapes were ripped, there were stains on multiple surfaces, and the bathroom was in general disrepair. There were also dirty fingerprints on multiple surfaces. It was also very questionable whether or not the bedding itself was clean. The room also had a generally unpleasant smell. The very next day we moved to a different hotel. I would advise not staying at this hotel if you...
