IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH PLEASE READ!!!!! The pictures you see are from a manicure that's a week old! I PAID $36 and just now hitting a week! I WILL SHOW YOU MY BANK STATEMENT IF YOU WOULD LIKE! When I first stopped in here to check out the prices they were so friendly! They offered me a drink, they were not pushy, they were very patient. When I came in and got my nails done it was the complete opposite. I had to ask for a drink and I was rushed into choosing my color which made no sense because they were not busy and the lady had not even started with my nails! I chose the purple color with the white and a pearlescent white with purple glitter in it! As I put my hands in the lamp to dry my nails it burnt the Dickens out of me! So I pulled them out which is what the lady told me to do! I had to go to my doctor. I called to tell her this just to let her know so that she knew it burnt my mail beds so that it didnt happen to other clients and she insisted that UV light doesnt burn people and she became defensive and said she has done nails for 22 years! CORRECT! But my doctor, who's been a doctor for 37 years, explained that it was the chemical reaction caused by her rushing through the process and globbing one thick top coat on versus her taking the time and putting on 2 thin layers of top coat! I even tried to explain to her that the white nails turned yellow! She treated me like I was ignorant and told me the nail polish had a little bit of yellow in it! WRONG! NO IT DID NOT! It was a Pearlescent WHITE! PERIOD! AND WHY DID THEY TURN YELLOW???? FROM OVER CURING??? The pictures I posted tell the whole story! Streaky sections of color, bubbles, jagged raised sections of nail polish and being burnt due to a chemical reaction; all due to globbing on top coat because she couldn't take the to give me a quality manicure! NOT WORTH THE $36 I PAID! MY CUTICLES ARE A MESS! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! She did not even offer to redo my nails! I tipped her $12, paid $36, I have had to pay for a prescription burn cream and a co-pay for a doctors visit because of her negligence and she treats me like I do not know the difference between white and yellow. Makes my Doctor out to be a Moron and does not even care that my nails could look better had I of done them for free at home a week a go. So sad how money hungry some people can be! Absolutely no customer service skills...
Read moreSo I called and made an appointment ahead of time at Image nail and spa, showed up on time for my appointment and was confused why when I showed up I was getting funny looks as if I didn't make an appointment. Nonetheless nothing was said to me and they told me sit down for my pedicure. The man doing my pedicure seemed rushed and not focused but I ignored that for a while until I noticed he wasn't doing the things included in the pedi I ordered; when I asked why thats when he told me I didn't have an appointment booked and so they didn't have time for anything else.. I replied saying I did book an appointment yesterday. He told me that appointment I booked was at another other image nail and spa (also in the same area, both are the same distance from my house which is why I got confused) so I showed up at the wrong one. Instead of informing me I was at the wrong salon when I showed up they said nothing and started giving me a pedicure I didn't order/want. At that point it was too late for me to say anything or go to the salon with my booked appointment so I just sat there upset. This appointment was for my birthday trip the day before vacation and I was planning on having a really special relaxing time, it was not that. I felt rushed the entire experience as they didn't have room/time for me! I wasn't going to complain or say anything until I left the salon and realized the paint on my toes was smudged (because we were rushing to get my appointment done) so I just want a refund for at least the pedicure at this point. I called and left a message and...
Read moreMy sister and I came to this place just to try it out. We arrive there's only about 3 people the gentleman working reception was polite and helpful we only asked for 2 pedicures and 1 manicure. Well as we pick our colors there are setting up the chair for us. Now mind you im in a long dress and my sisters in in regular attire jeans, sweater, etc. Might I say me and my sister are Hispanic and speak in both English and Spanish. Now I not sure what bothered the woman doing my pedicure but she hair a little past her shoulders and wore some type of hair clip. Well she wasn't fond us and especially me. She was snappy and wouldn't really care how she was treating. My sister and along with that woman's coworker told her repeatedly that she was hurting me. She ended up cutting my toes and giving me barely 2 coats. You can see clearly my nails even with the color. We paid 45 dollars each. She not only burned me with the hot towel but repeatedly threw the towel at my legs almost in digust. I work in a hardware store and I get bruises often due to work so I'm not sure if it was that or me being Hispanic and speaking Spanish with my sister bothered her but the whole pedicure was uncomfortable and in the end didn't get a manicure bc of the way I was being treated. My visit was a first and last time type of visit. There was plenty more that happened during our stay but I wouldn't bring anyone of my family members here or tell my friends about this place but I will advocate whenever I hear about this place. That woman was the only reason we will not be continuing...
