I'm a bit torn writing a review for this place. On the one hand, their Thai food is about the best you're going to find in Tigard, it really is good. On the other hand, I've noticed that their prices have continued to go up and their portion sizes seem to be getting smaller as time goes on.
For the most part I've had good experiences at this restaurant, I've only had one serious complaint about their food in 3 years. When ordering curry and soups to go, their portion sizes have gotten criminally small. I complained once when picking up an order and the server gave me some serious attitude and responded dismissively.
When I called the next day and spoke with the manager he offered me excuses and told me their take out portions had always been that size, which is a flat out lie and as a long term customer I don't appreciate being lied to. If you want curry then eat in, don't take it to go and don't order their dishes with meat, they don't give you enough to justify the extra cost.
As for their service, I would say it's middle of the road and their servers have an awkward table side manner. I've never once thought when going here that I've received excellent customer service, but it's not bad service either, just kind of meh.
The restaurant itself is always clean and has a pleasant atmosphere, conveniently located with ample accessible parking. Usually you can get a table right away and if not then it isn't a long wait, so that's a plus if you want to get a seat quickly. Overall I'm giving this place 3 stars and that's riding mostly on the food. For me a dining experience is exceptional when the food is great and the service wows. Truthfully it's a mixed bag, but I will continue to come here for the yellow curry that I...

It was very cold inside (summer visit), so if you're basically a cold blooded creature like me (not at heart of course, just in body 😂), bring a jacket or wear pants!
Food was good, but not mind-blowing, especially considering the prices of some of the specials. I had the Tong Thai special, Pumpkin Salmon Curry. The salmon was cooked well but partially breaded... Why destroy such perfect meat by breading it?! Okay, that's a personal preference yes. However, the earthy flavors of the pumpkin (which was delicious) did not lend itself well to the sea-side, tangy flavor of the fish. In my opinion a milder protein such as tofu or chicken would have been so so much more delicious.
Also, the Thai tea, while yummy, is in a very tiny glass considering the price (3.75 today), and the glass was completely filled with ice... So not much drink haha.
Overall, good! Worth a stop, but not necessarily...
Read moreEdit: I went back and talked to the restaurant. The server was brand new and didn't know how to handle a food complaint. Zhe also didn't know to tell me about the upcharge. The man checking me out originally refunded the rest of the dish. I don't know if I would return.
Was upcharged for a substitution, without being told, on the appetizer combo. Pad Thai was too spicy for my son. I tried a few bites and couldn't finish it. Told the server and nothing happened. Checked out and told the gentleman and he argued about there being no spice in it. Asked to remove it from my bill, as the server already cleared the plate and he only offered to take $5 off my bill. Paid and will not return. Chicken satay was average, pineapple fried rice was average. Will not return due to customer service. If something isn't right, you correct it or offer...
