I wish I could rate this No Stars. I have been coming to this Sushi Hana for years Normally going a couple times a month if not more, Due to its location which is 2mins from my work. Tonight I went for my anniversary dinner with my husband and they increased the price of plates my 122% that $0.25 per plate for cheap and the expensive plates. Which they are a company go for it I will gripe a little but settle down. My issue with this is there was no signs not notice of "our prices have increased" I was there two weeks ago and the plate prices were the normal 1.35 or 1.85 now they are 1.60 or 2.10 we normally get about at least 30 plates for my family when we come each time that will increase our bill about $7.50. So to not have a sign informing people of the price change is horrible customer service. I asked the Manager why there was not sign and he said "well we had on for 2 days". 2 DAYS even regular customers don't come ever day. I told him I felt like I was being scammed and that its horrible customer service to increase the prices that much and not make it known. I told him I felt like he was trapping people. the only thing he offered to do for us is think about maybe putting up a sign then sent us on our way no sorry or yeah we should fix it just. We had one for 2 days and maybe we will stop hurting our customers with lies and horrible customer service. Shame on you Sushi Hana you just lost a valuable long term customer. I was there when you opened your doors for the first time. For someone like me who comes every week or two to the same establishment I don't look at the prices I know the plate cost and I would thing to be a decent company who cares about their customers they would make it a little known that there was a change. I feel cheated and scammed I will never touch foot in this establishment again or any...
Read moreI just had such an awful experience at Sushi Hana earlier today. I called in for a takeout order and was told it'll be 10 minutes. So I clock out of work and get to Sushi Hana, only to find that the person who took my order wrote it down on the actual board part of the clip board (Not the paper, but the actual hard board) and then he's asking me whether the order is correct, which it's not. He was missing one of my orders. He then hands it over to a lady, who then gets out the order form and starts asking me questions. Fifteen minutes later, I'm still waiting and grow impatient because my order should have been ready fifteen minutes ago. I ask the lady how much longer it's going to take, and she just has this smirk on her face, and doesn't respond at all. Wtf? And so I'm like, I ordered 25 minutes ago, I was told i'd be ready in 10, I'm here waiting still for my food, how much longer is it going to take? So the lady goes to the sushi counter, and it takes another 5 minutes for all the food to get ready. It was so unacceptable. I asked for the tip I paid them back, and they did. I'll never be going there again. By the way, one of my sushi was missing the fish. Ugh... My lunch break is wasted, my time is wasted, all for...
Read moreLow key great sushi. Come by when it's busy for big fresh portions. Great staff and cozy atmosphere. Post COVID-19 Update: I live up the street so I might be biased. I come by here usually once or twice a week a little bit less now since the summer months, but every single time - literally every single time, I am amazed at how beautiful cheap sushi can be. There is no difference in my order I ordered the same thing every single time because I love it, and every single time it tastes just as good as the last which is to say that it tasted great. I can only imagine the people leaving reviews saying it is not fresh or that it is not to their liking, is because they order through a delivery service that might take one hour after pick up to bring their Sushi to them. You got to understand if you're buying me so soup from an inexpensive conveyor sushi place that is doing delivery now, you may not get tofu it's just how it works. The staff is always friendly and cordial. For what I pay I feel like I get a better value than what I'm paying in compensation. I'll have to say in one year I probably spend over $500 in this one sushi place alone, and that's before tip. I've been coming here...
