I’ve been a loyal customer of Starbucks since they opened their branch back home, with that being said it is safe to say that I am an immigrant. Last Sunday, an unfortunate experience occured. My husband and I had our usual coffee run before church, the drive thru line was long so we decided to order inside. I went to the counter and ordered, the partner who is taking our order did not understand or hear me the first time (thinking maybe because of my accent) and was very rude in asking wht my order was i brushed it off but then my husband stepped in and repeated the order. When she gave out our order, it was the wrong size and my husband told her that its the wrong size, instead of apologizing of the mistake, she was defensive and raised her voice saying she heard us saying tall size drink.
Given this situation, it would have been different if she handled it differently. I am customer for more than 15yrs and I never experienced this in any store. We felt discriminated and disrespected. There is a proper way to confront situations like this. We gave our feedback to the proper channels but to no avail, no one has reached out and apologize.
Starbucks is a big corporation,in this day and age we should be inclusive and proper reprimand and training should be given to the partners, and training them with customer service. This shouldn’t be taken lightly as it is bound to...
Read moreA friend of mine in the Midwest told me that Starbucks had a great grilled cheese sandwich plus they had egg bites that were so wonderful! Grilled cheese? Egg bites? I'm on my way! She was so right! The grilled cheese is white cheddar on sourdough and it's grilled so beautifully that it crunches when you bite into it! I know Starbucks doesn't have a grill and they probably just nuke this, but I don't care as it is absolutely delicious! The egg bites are done to perfection! As a Vegetarian I appreciate that one of the three options is a mushroom and kale egg bite. I also appreciate that although these are listed as breakfast items, you can purchase them anytime this Starbucks is open. This is my favorite drive-thru Starbucks in the entire metro area and the people working there are just fantastic. I honestly don't mind that they have a tipping option on the card reader because these people more than deserve a tip. This is the Starbucks that is in the same little plaza as Jimmy John's and Baskin-Robbins. If you like a good grilled cheese sandwich and you like perfectly done egg bites, then this is the Starbucks for you! Oh yeah the coffee is pretty decent too! Just my...
Read moreStarbucks drive thru person got an attitude with me bc I asked for cream and sugar when I got my coffee. He says, "You should have told us when you ordered and we would have had it ready." I'm thinking what do you mean have it ready? And then he reinforces again, saying, "It doesn't have another charge or anything just order it at the window." Like I was trying to get free cream or something???
I was too tired to respond but frankly he made me want to cry. All I know is when I was a barista and someone orders coffee you ASK them how they want it. Or confirm if they want it black. So I assumed they had sugar packets and a little creamer thingys for to go orders.
He gave me this huge cup full of cream. Why do I need that much cream??? All I needed was about 2 togo creamers worth. But I a coffee shop doesn't have togo creamers.
The dark roast didn't even taste like it used to. It tasted like the brewed a bunch of espresso or the bottom of a pot to make it and it was cloudy just not like I remeber. I used to go to Starbucks next to my job 8 years ago. I guess it's been too long since I have been at a Starbucks and I definitely...
