Sierra — Local services in Tinley Park

Made a return on 10/26 and 11/1 - neither has been credited to my bank account. Have been in contact with customer service and have had to repeat the story multiple times over phone calls and emails. They claim that the return was issued to a Discover card - not what I used, I don’t even own a Discover card. Still trying to get this resolved and now customer service is telling me to make ANOTHER purchase so they can refund that amount and the amount I am owed. I will be filing a claim with the Illinois Attorney General, the federal trade commission, the better business bureau, and will be in contact with the Village of Tinley Park about the way this business is being run. I would suggest anyone else experiencing this issues do the same. I will absolutely never make purchases from this store again, or any of their affiliated businesses (HomeGoods, TJ Max,...

Today, I visited Sierra Trading Post in Tinley Park because another store forgot to remove a security tag from an item I purchased. I showed my receipt and explained the situation, expecting a quick solution, but the manager, Oner, was completely indifferent.

Not only did he tell me I had to go back to the other store, but he also didn’t offer any apology for the inconvenience, the time wasted, or the gas spent due to an error that was entirely their fault. His attitude was disappointing and does not reflect the standards one would expect from Sierra Trading Post.

It was a frustrating experience, and honestly, I’d rather shop at stores where the service and management value...

Online purchase arrived 7 days later. Returned to the Tinley Park IL store same day it arrived. Have the store receipt showing the refund. Checked my credit card statement and it shows no refund during the transaction month. Called customer service and they said to call the store. Went into the TP store and they said to call CS.
