This place is awful I recommend that you do not even bother this Ross store should be closed their employees a rude and they have a bathroom you can't get in to unless you are buzzed in by fitting room attendant if there is one found on the floor or anywhere and only 2 employees in whole store took 15 minutes standing by the fitting rooms waiting for some one to buzz 5 people into the bathroom which to me is ludicrous. When employee a young girl named Jamie she was rude when asked why it was 15 or more minutes before she came she had a nasty reply we can only do what we can we only have to people here it is what it is so we started walking down hallway she nastly replied no go thru the big door being in retail for over 17 yrs prior to my currant job you do not talk to customers that way so after bathroom fiasco I went to front and asked to speak with the manager same girl was at cashier station along with one could worker who was relatively oblivious of what transpired in the back by fitting rooms. Finally another 15/20 minutes go by before Chris the Manager appears told him what we experienced with Jamie he tried to justify her rude behaviour by repeating we are short staffed apologized for his rude employee while my girlfriend and her daughter we're there to verify our story Jamie at register was actually laughing with another female customer about our whole incident I will now call corporate office in AM to report Employee Jamie and her Manager Chris at Tinley Park Ross store. If you agree Jamie should be released from her position at Ross please read my comment and like comment and share on this page and Manager Chris demoted from a managerial position for clearly he has no control over his rude employees so he lost 3...
Read moreOn Sunday April 27th at around 10 am my grandma and I were shopping in store. She felt a sharp object and pain in her shoe. I took it off and I saw a shopping tag. Took it off and told her I would show manager to make sure it doesn’t happen to someone else or a kid. When I asked to speak to a manager, the kind cashier told me she be right out. When she finally came out, and I told her what happen I could not have encounter a more rude and bitchy employee in my life. I told her, I’m letting her know because I don’t want it to happen to anyone else, she said “well, she’s okay” such an unprofessional answer and I will never shop at a Ross again. We paid for our things, but I came back and wanted to let her know that was such an unkind and rude response. She then said please back up, I said excuse me? I said hey, excuse me, to get her attention. I can tell she has bias and she should not be in charge of this store if this is how she handles situations. She never bothered to check my grandma or see the photo of my proof. Only said she felt unsafe. I told her I understood she is just a manager and I just wanted her to take it serious as it is an older person who stepped on it. I will be calling corporate to report her. Just a little kindness can go along way. We didn’t want to cause a scene, we took it out of her shoe and kept shopping. Will always contact my friends personal injury lawyer to see if anything can be done just because of the rude...
Read moreThis location isn't a great Ross, but it's easily the best in the area. (The Matteson store is always in dire need of more merchandise. The one in Orland Park, despite being in a nice area full of competition, is nearly as bad at keeping stocked.)
The Tinley store is on the larger size and usually well stocked. (Being in a large, busy plaza probably helps encourage them to keep it so.) The one really good part about this store is that the associates here are all really friendly and helpful. Many of them are downright funny, and most are fun to chat with as you check out.
So if you're looking to shop at a Ross, I'd recommend going to this one. The other benefit to going here being that if you don't find what you want, there's several other stores in...
