Subway — Restaurant in Tinley Park

There were 2 workers there. One employee began making sandwiches for the people in front of us. He didn't cut their bread with a knife, he ripped it apart. Then he put meat and cheese on the bread. The worker tore the bread apart for the 2nd sandwich and there was an exchange between him and the customer. The customer walked out without finishing the order. As we stood there we watched the employee gather the now USED cheese from the sandwich that he started making and put it BACK in the container with the rest of the cheese. We then said " You aren't supposed to do that; it's not sanitary!" He proceeded to ball the turkey up from that same sandwich and then asked " WHY NOT" while he put the now USED turkey back with the rest of the turkey. He nor the other employee seemed to think that anything was wrong with him putting those ingredients back. Obviously we left and chose NOT to eat from there. I highly suggest that you proceed with caution as there are SO MANY things wrong with what we saw and experienced today. It's GROSS AND UNSANITARY! I've tried coming to this location 3 times now, today at 11:15am on June 8th will be my last time. I walked in and greeted the worker. She looked up at me and put her head right down without saying anything. It was only me in the restaurant and she was working on 2 subs, for what seemed like an online order. She prepped the subs and popped them into the toaster oven. I thought she'd maybe start asking what I'm getting to start prepping my sandwich but she just leaned on her hands, still without even acknowledging that I was standing there awkwardly. She didn't seem interested in taking care of me so I just walked away thinking she might not want me business going elsewhere but she still said nothing to me, just let me walk out of the door. The funniest part is that they had this sign on top of the deli counter facing the customers saying about greeting every customer. I think maybe it should be facing the employees because it's not the first time that the workers were cold and unfriendly. It's bad enough that they don't accept coupons and over charge, the 6 INCH that I was going to get today was $10, not as a meal but sandwich only. I’ve been a subway fan for a long time and I’ve been to a lot of them but this subway was the worst experience ever!!! The worker had a horrible confrontational attitude!!! I asked for a footlong turkey on white and she says. We dont have turkey with an attitude!!! A subway with 0 turkey!! Then she says are you gonna want anything else?? I said tuna on white so she says. Are you gonna want anything on it?? Seriously?? I said yes so she scoops it out and throws it on the bread!! Who knows how long it was sitting out in the bin!! What else you want?? She says sarcastically!! I said lettuce tomato and she says you gonna want anything else?? I said pickles onions and she throws it on with an attitude!! Then she says you gonna want chips and a drink? I said yes!! Then she rings it up on the register with an attitude and face!! I really don’t know why I just didn’t walk out!! Was my fault!! The place turned my stomach!! Id love to meet the owner of this franchise because its a pathetic operation of any business!! Needs new owners immediately or shut the place down asap!!!
