I recently visited Sushi Miroku in Tinley Park and had a pleasant experience. The quality of the food was good, though not exceptional—there are other sushi spots that offer a more outstanding experience. That being said, I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients, which is always important when it comes to sushi. The service was prompt, especially since I visited on a weekday evening when the restaurant was not very busy. This made for a relaxed and attentive dining experience. The atmosphere was enjoyable too, with fun cat pictures on the walls and quirky plastic sumo wrestler statues adding a playful touch to the decor. One thing to note is that the prices are a bit higher compared to other sushi places, so if you're looking to get the most value, I would recommend opting for the all-you-can-eat option—it offers a great deal for what you get. Overall, it was a nice experience, and while it may not be my go-to sushi spot, I would definitely recommend it for a casual, enjoyable meal.

I’ve been here a few times now with my family, and we absolutely love it! The all-you-can-eat option is incredible, and they have great happy hour specials. You can try so many different dishes with AYCE—sushi rolls, nigiri, appetizers, salads, soups, and more. It’s perfect for a big group doing all-you-can-eat since you can share everything. Some of the plates are smaller (1–3 pieces), and the rolls are usually regular size (4–8 pieces), so it’s not overwhelming and easy to split if you want. Their service has always been top-tier, and this time we had Nanda, who was friendly, perfectly attentive, and even convinced us to get extra desserts—which definitely worked out in our favor! My favorites are the chicken katsu, pork udon, and honestly, there’s a roll for every mood, every time. We were a group of three adults who each did AYCE and had drinks—it came out to $200 with tip. We’ve never had a bad experience here.

Just bad. Would not recommend for large groups. We did All you can eat at dinner time for a group bigger than 4. It was too difficult for them. We did not enjoy the experience at all. Customer Service was poor poor poor. The host was awful! And food was delayed for 40 min in between rounds. the temps were off meaning served cold after long waits. the steak was raw and chewy. This isn't a fake review; they seriously can not have any more of our business after 3.15.25 and I do not recommend them. And before the restaurant try to respond, please don't waste your time, I told the host + waitress and managers of our grievances. Countless times. They do not care about your experience. We spent $400 for 5 adults and 6 kids to not get all our requests, to get poor customer service to eat cold food. We do not accept an apology at this point. This review can live here forever and that will be enough for me

Came here on new years eve, place wasn't busy at all which was a surprise around 7pm. We were seated immediately which is a plus, they have two menus, one for all u can eat and the regular dining, we took both just to compare and see what was most suitable for us. We ended up getting the regular dinner menu. Ordered two steak teriyaki bento boxes, a flaming dragon sushi roll, and the i80 roll. Now here's where things go down hill, when u get the bento box, it comes with soup and salad. We received our sushi about 15-20 min after ordering and I'm sitting down wondering why do we have this before our soup/ salad, we ate our sushi rolls and waited another 5-10 minutes before we received our bento boxes. We had to ask the server ( who we failed to remember the name of even if he gave it) , doesn't this meal come with soup and salad 😐. He goes oooooh yeah your right, with all due respect, why would u go back and give us our soup and salad when our boxes are in front of us? But back to the food, our gyoza we received was cold to touch and taste, our rice was cold as well so we had them take it back and bring out some hot food. During that time we tried the salad and soup, me personally I don't do dressings on my salad so I let that go to the side because it came with it on it. But the soup......... We had the same soup so why did one look pale and watery in comparison to the other bowl??? No flavor at all, the miso soup wasn't it at all. So after pushing the soup and salad to the side, our new boxes came out, the things that weren't hot the first time definitely were this time, but after all that, food was very mid. Steak was okay, fried rice was very heavy and lacked alot of flavor, no veggies, just egg and rice. Maybe that's how their fried rice is but the fried rice I'm used to has vegetables and the protein it says it has in it but anyway, now on to the ending service. Our server seemed as if he was high. Talked in a low tone, didn't know what went with our meal ( no knowledge of the menu), on a slow night u are standing around while we didn't receive bout items that were ready as we watched them on the sushi counter. There wasn't any communication between us which is kind of a big deal if your the one giving us our meals and drinks. If I were to go back, it would have to be for the sushi and at the bar so I don't have to worry about a slow service on a slow night. I hope the place gets...

Absolutely Incredible Experience at Sushi Miroku!

Sushi Miroku has officially become one of my favorite spots — not just for the amazing food, but for the phenomenal service that made the entire night unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, Yasemin made us feel completely taken care of. She’s the kind of person who doesn’t just serve — she curates your entire dining experience.

Every dish she recommended was spot-on. The sushi was unbelievably fresh, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every bite. The drinks were just as impressive — Yasemin’s cocktail suggestions paired flawlessly with our meal. She clearly knows the menu inside and out, and it shows in every detail.

It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism, personality, and genuine passion the way Yasemin does. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — from refilling drinks before we even noticed they were low, to checking in with perfect timing, never intrusive but always attentive.

If you’re planning to visit Sushi Miroku, ask for Yasemin. She turned an already amazing dinner into something truly memorable. Between the incredible food, drinks, and Yasemin’s exceptional service, Sushi Miroku easily earns a perfect 10/10 from me.

Can’t wait to...

I came here for lunch and just got a simple bento box with chicken teriyaki. When I got my food. I was given steak instead of chicken.

At first, since the steak was cooked on the rare side, I thought I was served undercooked chicken, which was very unsettling, but upon further inspection we discovered it was steak. Our server did put in the order correctly, the kitchen just prepared it incorrectly.

Our server asked if we wanted to keep the steak. I said may as well since my husband could eat it, and it’s not like they were going to serve it to anyone else, right? So we were asked to pay extra for their mistake! Had I known I could’ve just given them the steak back so they can do who knows what with it since they’re so concerned with taking a loss. Never heard of a place that charges you when they make a mistake.

Besides that, the food was fine, their sushi rolls do fall apart easily, and I think their costs mainly are for the “aesthetic” of how they present their sushi on the plate, rather than for the quality of the sushi itself. I’m not a huge fan of all you can eat sushi places, but I did love that they offered bento boxes, as I feel a lot of Asian places do not offer these anymore, but very disappointed about their policy to charges their guests extra for something they never asked for in the...
