Save A Lot — Local services in Titusville

The customer service here is absolutely terrible. Heard them talking smack about a customer as soon as I walked in the door. Place has gone downhill over the last two years. You have to use a quarter for the carts, they don’t have hand baskets, the employees have attitudes, you have to PAY for plastic bags and then they don’t even bag your groceries. Not everybody Carrie’s cash and has a quarter for the grocery carts, when you ask to use one they get all snarky “as long as you bring it back” really? I don’t work here I should be able to put it in the outside cart rack like every other store in the county and go home. When you need to return an item the store manager REFUSES to refund to your card and only offers “store credit” and I saw meat today that said best by May 2022. Ew! They also pretty much only have off brand products too and they’re not as cheap as Kroger. Who delivers BAGGED groceries to you door. Even Dollar Tree does a better job at customer service, I used to work in big retail stores and a lot of the stuff the employees do here would get you fired at other places. This store is...

Really not very happy with the place but it's the only grocery store nearby. Whenever there is a sale on any meat item, you will find that they have just dumped as many as they could pull out of the freezer still frozen solid. I'm unsure if any of the meat actually is intended to be cut fresh but nearly 50% of their meat department is frozen packages of things that I can get fresh at other grocery stores. On at least three separate occasions I have purchased meat and found the previous sell-by date that was covered by a new sticker. You can savde money shopping here but there always seems to be something on my list that they don't have that I need and I have to go somewhere else to get it. Their brands are pretty good though that I've tried so far. I gave four stars because I watched a young cashier girl flat out ignore the customer behind me twice and then a younger guy said are you going to open another register and the girl went running right over! She was very rude to say the least, our cashier was very nice though just overwhelmed because that young girl obviously didn't understand she was supposed to...
