Learning Tree Academy(LTA) is one of the Best private schools I have had the pleasure of being a part of and participating with. This school truly has my child along with all other children’s best interest at heart. The school and its staff teach our children to be well rounded : meaning they are taught about self care, well being, relaxation, positive mind frame, encouraging others, confidence, to be physically fit, eye hand coordination, survival outside, weather, astronomy, healthy foods and growing them yourself, and everyday daily things( like zipping jacket, etc). It is a farm to table teaching in regard to food. They teach them to try everything on your plate and to always say grace! Hands on learning in all the normal subjects such as math/ reading/science/ social studies/ language arts including spelling and grammar/ Spanish/ as well as one of my favorite parts is it has a religious backing and they do a daily devotional and cool camps or bible school which I LOVE!! The teachers truly treat my child as if he is their own and he has been with them since he was a baby so they are like family to us! My granddaughter has been there since she was a baby with the exception of kindergarten. She is eight years old now and in third grade. There have been bumps in the road. That being said, we love Learning Tree Academy, they are family. I love that she gets to take care of the chickens and Collect eggs and sell them. She has planted gardens and eaten what was grown. They also have a butterfly garden, play in the creek and catch crawdads. She learned to tie knots and built a fort. I love that they have devotion every morning. She learns outside in nature. These are all things not offered anywhere else near us. The classes are small and allow for individual attention. They are taught self respect and respect for others. Learning Tree Academy has been such an answer to prayer for our family. My daughter has attended Learning Tree Academy since she was 3 years old. She now attends their Kindergarten as part of their private academy. From the childcare to the academics you can see and feel their commitment to excellence and intentional education. We love how they expand the classroom into nature - allowing the kiddos to get up and out. It's amazing to see how much my daughter absorbs through the hands on experiential learning opportunities.
