Super adorable cafe! We have visited several times and really love the appetizers! So far, we’ve tried…. The beef empanadas, Tacos de Canasta, molletes, charcuterie board and iced coffees. My personal favorites are the mini charcuterie board (plentiful amount of meat, cheese & fresh grapes and strawberries), the empanadas are flavorful and delicious and the iced hazelnut with cold foam is refreshing! The food is hot, fresh, and homemade by the owners family ….as this is a wonderful, family run business.
BEWARE of TROLLS I just noticed that the previously 1-Star reviewer corrected their post today, which was the right & respectful thing to do, as their original post contained many untruths about this cafe. It’s good that he did the right thing by telling the truth in his edited post, especially because anyone can easily look up the menu to see pricing, as well as visit the cafe & see how kind the owner is & enjoy this relaxing cafe. :) FYI: Copy of the menu seen in “Photos” for the cafe.
One thing to remember….. One thing I have noticed (sadly) about Tomball (Main Street) is the MEAN people who love to give new business owners a hard time, complain for nothing, run them off, it’s truly a sight to behold. We personally warned this new owner about the mean people to watch out for……people telling lies & trying to hurt people’s businesses. We have seen them do it to about 6 businesses. They are so awful! I can tell you, as someone who has lived here 25 years, IF you ever see a bad review on here, that seems out of place, do NOT believe it, because Tomball (Main Street) sadly has quite a few TROLLS and LIARS! They are infamous and well known for running off new businesses & like to complain about anything & everything.
So, please ignore the “Karens” (male & female) and come support this adorable...
Read moreI was super excited to try this establishment and had been wanting to try it for quite some time. Upon entering there was no one up front to take orders. Waiting patiently with my children and reviewing the menu.: we were greeted by someone and asked if we were to dine in or carry out. We opted to carry out due to the disarray of the seating area. With the cute and limited menu i was disappointed that they had run out of Their signature strawberry flavored drinks... still wanting to try a drink we opted for another flavor. Once we finished our order of their stuffed pink concha with whipped cream and strawberries, stuffed concha with ice cream and their honey bun waffle and cream we were told kind of rudely to wait somewhere else bc they were having a party "she gestured somewhere" but i wasn't exactly sure where. We opted to wait outside. 5 minutes after ordering we received our drinks.. i was expecting fresh lemonade and received powdered mixed with excessive sweetener... the tea wasn't much better tasting like Lipton.after 10 minutes of waiting we finally received our to go order.. my Togo order arrived in a paper boat plate with a half a sheet of flimsy aluminum foil.. and yall i paid 5+ for the concha surf strawberries and cream and i got a mini concha with 3-4 pieces of strawberries total.. the other dishes weren't much better. I paid 23$ for the entire order but was charged 2$ extra to use my debit card which i was told as she had me swipe my card.. there was no sign anywhere reflecting the extra charge. The whole establishment was run by a bunch of teenagers so i honestly don't know why I'm surprised: it's sad to say i will not revisit this establishment again nor will i encourage friends and family to come...
Read moreThis place is such a gem! The space is so pretty and the owner, Izabella, thought of every detail. From the adorable water glasses, to the star shaped salt shaker! The decor is pretty and she even has the perfect Instagram wall for pics. She also has a space that is perfect for birthday parties, youth group gatherings or teens wanting a fun game of ping pong or giant checkers. But enough about how nice the environment is, let's talk food! I was raised on home cooked, made from scratch Mexican food and that's how I cook. Keep It Simple & Pink's food tastes like something I would make at home. Absolutely delicious. The taquitos were crispy with perfectly seasoned chicken. And we are talking home made, not that frozen junk. We also tried the molletes, a bollio bread toasted with beans, cheese and topped with chorize served with a side of pico de gallo. OMG, delicious!! Tacos de canasta, perfection and the salsa actually had a kick to it but with great flavor. Prices are great too! I can't wait to go back and try some of her incredible looking desserts. Izabella also has plugs at just about every table so if you want to do some work while having an iced coffee, she's got you covered. Here is what I think is the best part. SHE IS OPEN UNTIL 11PM! In Tomball, everything shuts down at 7-8pm. So if you want a snack or hungry after 8pm, only option is burgers or fast food. NOT ANYMORE! Love this! Izabella is such an amazing and impressive young woman. I look forward to becoming a regular and supporting this intelligent young entrepreneur. #latinabusinessowner...
