If you are looking for a jewelry store - look no further and go to Kevin’s. Recently, I had a few necklaces from the 80’s with diamonds that have been out of style for a while and went to Kevins with all. I turned in the gold to put some money toward the pieces which was great to start with. Then Kevin and Kim sat with me and we designed how to repurpose 2 pieces and to make a third to signify my grandchildren with gold diamond letters I had for their names and old diamond earrings to add a stone in the middle of their initials. They made two of these pieces one for me and one for my daughter. Kevin was amazing and took his time and really helped me achieve what I wanted and came up with ideas I never would have thought of. When I went to pick up the pieces last weekend, I was blown over by the amazing work they had done. The pieces are just beautiful!! I can’t believe they are mine and it was from all things I had and they made them beyond my wildest expectations and just stunning. I also had a pair diamond huggies from the 80’s and Kevin updated them with some amazing engraving on the sides of the earrings - they look totally different and just beautiful. The detailing is amazing!! I have a few other things I will repurpose at some point and I know right where to go. If you are looking to buy jewelry, Kim is beyond knowledgeable and just an amazing person to work with. I’ve been going to Kim for over 30+ years and followed her to Kevin’s. I’ve bought some beautiful pieces from them and they also reset my engagement ring a few years ago and it’s just gorgeous!! I cannot recommend Kevin’s enough. I first found Kevin’s 3 years ago while searching for a jeweler to purchase an engagement ring for my now wife. We stopped in and Jenny patiently sat with us for over an hour explaining everything there is to know about diamonds and designing a custom engagement ring. We had visited other jewelers near us and they were very sale oriented to the point where they called me every day for weeks after a consultation trying to get me to purchase. There was no pressure to purchase with Kevin’s. They genuinely wanted to make sure we got what we wanted and were confident in our decision. I knew immediately after our first consultation with Jenny that Kevin’s was the right place. When it came time to design the ring of my wife’s dreams, I worked with Kim who was again patient and knowledgeable. We looked at many different options within my budget but she had found the exact center stone I was looking for and helped design the ring around that specific stone. Absolute perfection. My wife could not be more happy when I finally gave her the ring and it was everything she ever wanted. When it came time to purchase wedding bands there was no question that we would be going back to Kevin’s. Again they delivered exactly what we wanted. I honestly can't say enough good things about Kevin and his team (I must be a broken record with his other reviewers). My wife and I have gone to many jewelers in the northeast NJ area and the eastern PA area for watch purchases, watch battery replacements, jewelry purchases, jewelry repairs and cleanings... Not one has lived up to the pricing, quality, or customer service of Kevin's Fine Jewelry. Our recent custom wedding band replacement purchase was designed to look like an original set to her engagement ring purchased 16 years ago. The first custom wedding band we had was made in Allentown (15 years ago) from a family trusted jeweler and was just not good. The diamond settings didn't align with the engagement ring, among other things. Kevin's was the result of autocad design and wax prototype that matches the engagement ring perfectly. The other jewelers we went to never followed through with any official quote (Montclair and surrounding). I am guessing they didn't have the skill to work a custom request. It's not like we were on the cheap and expected high-end for pennies. We believe in paying for quality. We also found that his erodium plating is much more thorough than any other store we have gone to. One place in Warren found us going back numerous times for issues and at over twice what Kevin charged, only he did it right the first time even matching the polish/matt of the original ring (all others refused to put on a dual finish saying that can only be done at a factory).
