I was there to take a friend for the FIRST TIME and I ordered the “ QUINOA GREEK SALAD “and they put “A LOT OF ARUGULA“ on the Bottom without asking me FIRST and the SALAD DOES NOT COMES WITH THAT. When they bring me the “Quinoa salad “ to my table I told the waitress that they prepared my order incorrect and I don’t want that . I talked to him nicely that I want the “Quinoa salad “with not Leaves . I also pointed him that the Mediterranean looks good but not with the Baby Spinach ( I DON’T WANT ANY LEAVES “. He left the Salad on the table and went back and talked with a lady with Colombian accent that was at the cashier. Then she came to me UNCOMFORTABLE and ask me how I want it and I REPEATED the same thing to her I WANT A QUINOA SALAD WITH NO LEAVES and if she can prepare me one that doesn’t come with any Leaves it would be perfect for me. She twisted her eyes and went back to the Kitchen and bring me the Quinoa Salad with not leaves But when the CHECK arrives they want me to PAY for the First Salad that they Prepared and the One I ate even though It wasn’t my FAULT . It was they FAULT because the GREEK SALAD DOES NOT COMES WITH ANY LEAVES and they ADD ‘ Urugula” . The waitress come back and forth staying me that he CAN NOT CHANGE THE CHECK and I emphasized that it WASN’T my fault and I would NOT to PAY for the extra Plate . Finally The lady “with Colombian accent” came to me and tell me SHE CAN’T REMOVE the first “SALAD” from the check I REPEAT ONE MORE TIME THAT IT WASN’T MY FAULT, IT WAS THEIR FAULT and ALSO I CAN NOT EAT ANY GREEN LEAVES . She went back to the cashier ISSUED the CHECK and sent the waitress to the table . We were also ordered a CAPUCHINO COFFEE. Because she know it want my fault she PROCEEDED TO OVERPRICED the CAPUCHINO and Charged Us $14.00 for the Capuchino. We PAID $71.00 for 2 salad and 1 capuchino . We paid the BILL and GAVE the waitress a TIP . And for HER I’m just LEAVING this REViEW . “ Hope your Boss place you on the Spot where you deserved to be”...
Read moreMy family and I have been coming here for years. Today, I tried a new drink that I saw was on the menu. I did not like it, and I sent it back requesting a new drink. I don’t know what happened, but ever since I sent that drink back, our waitress Alex’s behavior changed drastically. She offered my mom more coffee, never brought it out. I asked for salt and a water for my son, the water never came to us. She’s checking in on other tables expect for ours. I stopped the manager and asked him if I did something wrong because I sent the drink back and her behavior changed. He told me that she was just stressed. I explained to him that she offered to bring more coffee and forgot the water, he offered to bring that out and my mom did not even want the coffee anymore, we just wanted the water and the bill. Moments later she came back out with coffee for my mom when we specifically said we no longer wanted the coffee, and that we asked for the water and the bill. The manager then came back out with the water (finally) and the check and told me he took the coffee off the order. THEY STILL WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR THE DRINK I SENT BACK. I brought that up to his attention and they adjusted the bill. $74 for mediocre food, small portioned, and selective service no thank you. There is a nicer breakfast spot CALLED CYNDIA’S down the street with much cheaper prices, amazing food, and exceptional customer service. It breaks my heart that after coming here for years, YEARS, we will no longer be coming...
Read moreWhile Kafe Neo has good food, they have completely lost me and my family's business. My mother-in-law recently picked up food in person and struck up a conversation with a delivery person behind the counter. She orders delivery quite frequently and asked this person to check her home address to see if she could have Kafe Neo delivered. According to the person she spoke with that day, her address does fall within the delivery range.
A week later, I ordered dinner online to be delivered to her house. After 3 minutes, the screen said my order was declined and to call the restaurant for more information. So I call them, and it turns out the manager declined the order because "the tip was too small based on the address." When I asked if they would accept a second order with a larger tip, they said yes, but when pressed, would not even specify how much would be "large enough."
While tipping is of course customary in the US, it is not up to the business to demand how much they receive. Tipping is a sign of appreciation based on service provided-- not an expectation to be negotiated. It's also worth noting that they DO charge a delivery fee-- if this business wants to ensure that a delivery is worthwhile for their drivers, they can either A) increase food prices B) increase the delivery fee they already have in place or C) pay their drivers more.
But don't essentially ask for a bribe from...
