I regret to inform potential patrons of Lox of Bagels that my recent visit was deeply disappointing and far below the standards one would expect from any establishment serving food. Firstly, the condition of the premises was appalling. The tables were sticky and unclean, creating an unwelcoming and unsanitary dining environment. This was compounded by the overall dirtiness of the place, which suggests a lack of proper management and care for cleanliness.
The food itself was equally unsatisfactory. The bagels, which should ideally be served warm and inviting, were instead served cold, contributing to an overall lackluster dining experience. This was not just a minor slip in food quality but a complete failure to deliver the most basic culinary standard.
Moreover, the service was abysmal. The cashier, Britney, displayed a contemptuous attitude that was both unprofessional and unwelcoming. Instead of providing courteous service, she pressed me to hurry my order, despite the absence of other customers, all the while prioritizing her personal Facetime call over attending to a patron. Such behavior is unacceptable in any service-oriented industry.
Additionally, it has come to my attention that the manager, Sam, has allegedly been compensating individuals for positive Google reviews, which casts serious doubt on the legitimacy of the high ratings seen online. This deceptive practice is misleading to the public and tarnishes the trust that should exist between a business and its customers.
DO NOT VISIT THIS DISGRACE OF...
Read moreIf I could leave a 0 star review I would. Absolutely atrocious health standards here. Went in for breakfast for my daughter myself and my fiance. Paid almost 15$ for 3 bagels with butter / cream cheese.
Despite putting 1 glove on, woman touched the bagels with her bare hands. Threw 2 in the toaster and the 3rd bagel on top of the dirty toaster to collect whatever debris and dust was up there. Woman took that same glove to wipe down the cutting board to the left of the toaster, despite not using that one. walked away, touched some raw eggs amongst other things by the grill, came back to prepare food. Bagels came out burnt on the inside and over toasted, and were once again touched with a bare hand and the same dirty glove. Tried to charge me twice. Then as I left I refused to eat it or feed my daughter. I just took the 14$ loss. My fiance very hungry before my work shift took a few bites. Said her cream cheese bagel tasted terrible and weird. Now an hour later she’s throwing up sick as a dog in a Target bathroom.
Will never EVER eat here again, the health inspector needs to go and evaluate the practices here.
So to Toshs point below, doesn’t seem like they cared to do anything about the review, or about the health of their customers or cleanliness of the store....

In fact she took the wrong order to the customer . Then when she decide to take my order I order a whole wheat everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and jelly. She goes and grab an everything bagel and I told her it was a whole wheat everything . She changed the bagel and comes and pinch my bagel as she walking to the cream cheese station without gloves. She then comes and opens the cream cheese fridge and almost applied cream cheese without toasting my bagel. Stopped her and told her I wanted it toasted as she walking to the toaster she passes her hands with no gloves around her face and then goes back and touches my bagel and while inserting my bagel in the toaster again she uses the hands with no gloves. If food is going to be Handel without gloves employees should wash hands after every customer or wear gloves on both hands if that’s the case.. I don’t know if she Handel money or touch someone else’s hands before making my food or even used the bathroom. This is low hygiene it can get...
