So, I am not one to leave bad reviews, however this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. Dalia's seems like they get a lot of nice reviews and all however, the only nice thing I can say is that the building was clean and spacious.
First off, I won't speak for the rest of the bridal party, but I felt very unwelcomed and almost belittled after any comment I made on the comfortability, weight, color, etc of the dresses we tried on. Eventually, we found the perfect dress that the bride loved for all of us to wear. The bridal party I was a part of ordered our bridesmaids dresses in November (2021) and were told that the dresses would be in ready to pick up in mid-April (2022). The wedding date was July 16 (2022).
Fast forward and it's the last week of April and none of us received a word from Dalia's. The bride called and they say "oh yeah the dresses have been here." They went to go check the dresses and they were in the wrong color. The dresses we ordered were blush pink and they came in gold... So, they apologize, reorder new ones and say they put it on express shipping. Guess what? The dresses come in, no call, bride calls, WRONG COLOR AGAIN. They do the same process... apologize, express ship, etc. Still no communication with updates while the bride-to-be is getting married in less than a month.
The dress came in 10 business days before the wedding while we are on our bachelorette party. Once again, with no call. We all had to call at different times and the only person who would actually get ahold of Dalia (sometimes) was the bride who didn't even order a dress from there!
Aside from the intense lack of communication and costs we had to pay for this ridiculous inconvenience, how do you order the wrong color TWICE?! Then, they continued to tell us there is nothing they can do regarding alterations other than recommend places... gee thanks. One week before the wedding and we had to find the time to pick up our dresses, go to a tailor, pay extra fees to rush the alterations, and pray to whatever the hell we believe in that the dresses fit us well enough.
I also noticed at the wedding, the bottom of my dress started snagging and strings started coming loose. Highly do NOT recommend this place to anyone who is getting married or looking for bridesmaids dresses unless you're looking for no communication and A...
Read moreI had an appointment May 27th to find a wedding dress on a time crunch and a budget. I hesitated posting this review, but here we are. Like many brides, I was going to a few shops and trying on many dresses to try and find "the one." We had an appointment that ended literally minutes before my appointment at Dalia's where we thought we had found my dress, but I didn't want to cancel this appointment on the fly so, my mother, sister, and I came in. Dalia was our stylist. I explained that there was a dress to beat, a budget, and a time frame. She brought me some dresses and off we went. Now, I will preface this with my family is a lot. My mother is a senior, is a recent widow, and had a stroke shortly before my father passed. My sister has a lot of opinions and is trying to make this my perfect day without my father being here. This is tough for us.
Dalia puts me in the first dress and we go out. Pretty, but too big. I asked for a ballgown, but this was A LOT of ballgown and I didn't like the bottom. I said this, kindly. "Well, you said you wanted a ballgown," with a scoff and a huff. Next dress. My sister has opinions about it. Her voice isn't the best so she sounds like she's yelling, but it's just because she can't talk. "Okay, that's enough," Dalia snapped at my sister. At this point, I should have walked out, but we kept going. Get to the last dress. I like it. We all like it. I look at the price tag. It's over what I told her and the straps I wanted to add that were sold separately were $250 on top of the price of the dress. I told her $1300 max. The dress was $1400. Add the straps and alterations and you do the math. We left.
Dalia was snippy, rude, and ignored my budget. She was only mildly nice to me, the bride, but the money was in another purse anyway so, maybe she should have been nicer to the two people with the bag. We found my dress elsewhere for a much more reasonable price the next week, back at the salon we came from for our appointment at Dalia's.
The shop was clean and the other two girls working were very sweet and...
Read moreI was the bride who was TERRIFIED of shopping for my wedding dress because I didn’t think I would ever find what I was looking for…something that felt like me and fit my vision for how I wanted to look on the big day. I am also a very indecisive person so picking my wedding dress seemed like the most overwhelming task. Lucky for me I went to Dalia’s and had Emily as my bridal consultant. When I met Emily I instantly just felt better and more relaxed. She truly took the time to get to know me, my vision, and my fiancé. She picked 4 dresses to start and they ALL were a dream and exactly what I asked for. The very first dress I put on was my perfect dress. Everything I envisioned for myself and more. I ended up trying on 10 dresses just to be sure that the first one really was my dream dress. My mom and Nani also got their dresses from Dalia’s and to say that I am obsessed with them is an understatement. They look incredible and feel so confident in their dresses for the big day which makes me so happy. It was truly the best and easiest experience ever. I could not recommend Dalia’s more! She is the sweetest and it was so nice to have her be part of this entire process. Emily is the BEST and truly made my experience one I will never forget. If you can pick a consultant I would suggest my girl! She’s like family now! You will not regret going here! Beautiful dresses, amazing atmosphere,...
