Easily my favorite store on Main St and in my top ten stores I've been to in my entire life. Taking a trip to Cup of Community is, for me, an instant mood-booster and always a lot of fun. As an avid tea lover (I make a pot of tea literally every day), I can't recommend this store enough to other tea lovers or anyone who has a passing interest in tea.
Every employee I've talked to is very knowledgeable about tea and tea accessories and has been able to answer all my questions thoroughly; it's quite easy for me to spend ten or fifteen extra minutes just conversing with the wonderful people behind the counter. The store is open and inviting (particularly when the sun's out), with great detail to use of space and colors. There are sample jars on one side that you can smell before purchase or look at the ingredient list on the back to make sure it won't trigger an allergy. Most of the tea accessories (like teapots and reusable teabags) are on the other side. Overall a fantastic store and I always look forward...
Read moreWhile I'm sharing where I'm planning on checking out, forgot to mention this wonderful gem of a place! I just stopped in to look around (It looked so inviting and cozy through the windows) and learned so much about tea I never knew! Like YES! There really is a science behind how each type of tea is brewed and why!!! The owner was extremely knowledgeable and I was like a kid in a candy store! Besides the teas they also have a great selection of tea pots ( the decor atmosphere and service was phenomenal before I forget!) Honeys Sugars candles tea accessories and more! I grabbed a bunch of different kinds of tea for my cousin in Las Vegas to try and he's been raving about them! I also tried the 🍯 😋🤗🤤 and hibiscus sugar! I stopped in today and grabbed some of the ginger 🍋 ☕ and if you know anything you know I love my ginger!!! Definitely happy with my selection!!!!! And will be there quite often!!! Who knew The Village of Williamsburg had such a...
Read moreI grew up as a tea drinker, but switched to coffee while I was working. Now that I am retired, coffee is too much and I am happily back to my beloved tea. My kids gave me a new rechargeable mug that keeps drinks warm for a Christmas gift and included selections of tea from Cup of Communitea. I was instantly hooked, the tea was so good, so much better than the commercial tea bags I had always used. Their Earl Grey Mandarin tea was the best I have ever tasted. I finished the tea I was given and headed to the store on Main Street to get more. It is like a candy store for tea lovers. I found an herbal tea called Winter Citrus that is perfect for evenings before bed. I have tried several other flavors, Earl Grey Sun, Cherry Pomegranate (also herbal) and Blackberry Black to name a few. This store will turn anyone into a tea drinker. Love it - 10/10...
