Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Town of Amherst

This store doesn't even deserve one star but to write a review you have to give them one. Before you purchase anything please know if you wash it, you can't return it, even with receipt and tags. Yesterday my husband bought towels and wash clothes from this Ross. Like most people we washed them first. We'll the Nautica towels and wash cloths feel apart, clogging my washer with fabric fibers. Never seen this before. So today I took them back. I was greeted by a emotionless, sad women. And LoL, of course her name was Karen, an assistant manager. I explain the situation and even brought bags of what came off towels. Never a I sorry or let me make this right. Like a robot she asked for receipt and tags. I had neither because I've never had towels fall apart. Long story short, she refused to help me with my return, even after an employee explained to her how to do it with my Ross credit card. We are very good customers, we even got their card. Needless to say, Ross card will be gone. She refused to even attempt to help. I do praise the employee who stepped up to help a customer and then got shot down my an assistant manager named Karen. So word to wise, Ross sells cheap stuff but its also inferior quality. So don't wash and save your tags because Ross return policy is garbage, like their products. Shop at your own risk!

To the young girl name Chole!!! You need to learn how to speak to people!! Saying things like “you can’t afford 99 cent item” is very insulting and hurtful!!! You have no clue what people deal with on the daily!!! At the end of the day all you had to do was fix the price!! The same amount of time you took to go back and forth you could’ve honestly saved it by just fixing the socks that you guys didn’t even mark down properly anyways!!! Moral of the story is learn how to speak to people. Customer service-10 go to the other locations at least they’re more friendly...

Came here to walk.off lunch and do so.e shopping nothing against the products or front end. The man ager did not care that there was mulch smoking in front of the store. He came out and said yea. But did not do anything. It's 80 degrees outside no wind. I should have called the fire department maybe the store would have been fined. But I poured water on it.
