Don’t go this store-guitar Center 1092 Niagara Fls Blvd, Tonawanda, NY 14150. If you spend money they’re happy if you go for Return they are not happy. This Store Couple of people working their service is really bad.I spent load of money this store last year I bought it Mackie ProFX22v3 22-channel Mixer, 6- speaker QSCK 12 And to 2-Sub 18 inch qsc And 4- monitor qsc And 10 of them DMX light and 8-pice Harbinger speaker 12 inch and 4-of them 12-in sub,one keyboard Yamaha, 4-pice shure microphone,think last year I how much money I spent $15000 dollars this store and this year holiday I just bought it JBL 3-piece of speaker,the Operating system I don’t like that I give return. They don’t like it after that,I order JBL 12 inch 4-piece speaker and 2-sub,The speaker when coming it’s not the loud sound and sub Body is damage, they give you 45 days return policy and I said that there speaker sound Not enough for me,I want to return and take harbinger speaker but they feel not comfortable, they give harbinger 4-piece 15 inch and one of them speake When I open the box inside the speaker loose screw rounding the speaker making a noise and I bought it one wireless shure microphone Blx24r when I check not working, no given signal and I bought it harbinger 2-sub 18 inch,when I go this store said that the microphone was not working and one of the speaker inside loose screw rounding they are rude to me and said that this is final sale no return again. I said that I really apologize because there is no any display item which is I cannot check your store any speaker you don’t have it so I don’t figure out, when I ordered the JBL speaker, what the sound the speaker have, they Said that 2-time you return this is final sale no return any Buffalo store I spent almost $4000 dollars And I don’t get any respect they are really angry and I said that I’m sorry for that two time I give you return because I don’t figure out the sound quality. I never go this store again sorry for that.

I purchased a used Ibanez Artist bass on September 19th from this location and had it shipped to another guitar center near me. The listing mentioned that the bass came with a case, so I believed I was getting a good deal. The listing did not mention that what I'd receive is a case so beyond repair that it can't actually be used as a case. The case does not close, It's missing latches and the handle, and one entire side was broken with the foam sticking out. I had to borrow packing tape from a store associate just to tape together the broken bits so I could leave the store with the bass in it. When a guitar center listing says "comes with case" or "comes with bag" I'm expecting something I could carry the guitar to a gig with the same day, or if I were to walk into this store and buy a case off the shelf. In hindsight I should have asked them for a refund or replacement case at the store I picked it up from, but I thought it might be the original case and worth trying to repair. Unfortunately I've let some time pass due to other priorities and all I can do now is try for a partial refund or a replacement case from the website. I know a $600 used sale isn't your big ticket item, but if I'm spending half a week's salary It would be nice to be sure of what I'm getting. If this were a $2000 purchase I wouldn't have tolerated that. Can't completely slag off this store because at least the bass arrived in the condition described, and for one this rare I'm glad, but I find it disingenuous that they shipped it in this piece of junk and claimed it's a usable case. But If it's the original case at least they could have written "comes with original case but in heavy need of repair" or something.

I'm going on 70 yrs old and have to admit my ears aren't what they used to be so I asked him to help me with his ears as I played a bit on each one. And we both agreed that the 814ce had more of the sound I was looking for. Anyways I went home with a new 814ce and after a couple weeks I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. I also can't put it down. I would Definitely recommend the Guitar Center on Niagra Falls Blvd if your in the process of buying a new guitar.

Steve in sales was outstanding, after talking with me a bit to see what I was interested in, he set me up in a sound room by myself with 6 Taylor guitars on stands around me that he thought I'd be interested in. Checking on me occasionally to see if I had any questions I was trying out these guitars for over 4 hours. I narrowed it down to two, the 324BE and the 814ce which I went back and forth about 12 times lol. I'm going on 70 yrs old and have to admit my ears aren't what they used to be so I asked him to help me with his ears as I played a bit on each one. And we both agreed that the 814ce had more of the sound I was looking for. Anyways I went home with a new 814ce and after a couple weeks I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. I also can't put it down. I would Definitely recommend the Guitar Center on Niagra Falls Blvd if your in the process of buying a new guitar.

Disappointed! I love Guitar Center in Rochester, NY, but had to travel an hour and a half to the Tonawanda location on Niagara Falls Blvd. to pick up a specific guitar I was searching for that they had in stock. After talking with a rep (Chris) from the store in Tonawanda who confirmed they had one in a box, I had him put it on hold for me. He said that he would check it over for me, which I fully expect a music store that sells instruments to do... it's a fundementnal function in my eyes. Upon arrival another rep grabbed the guitar for me because Chris was taking care of another customer at that time. He asked if I would like to check it out before I took it. I said that I didn't feel the need since I just purchased one a month ago and knew how well the instrument played and that Chris said he would check it out for me; again, something that I feel is a fundementnal function of a music store selling instruments. The rep assisting me at that time had slightly opened the box and said he wasn't certain if it had been gone over by Chris, however am older guy there said it had been as he saw Chris going over it and tuned it up for me. However, when I got home and opened the box the guitar was still wrapped in a foam sleeve that was taped shut. Not only did the tape look like it had never been disturbed, I quickly realized once I removed the guitar from the sleeve that the strings were completely wrapped in paper and taped, which also did not appear to be disturbed. Needless to say that I wasn't the least bit surprised that it was totally out of tune. As a customer that has purchased multiple guitars (including a Les Paul and Stratocaster), multiple amps, a synthesizer, numerous affects pedals and a ton of associated gear I am extremely upset and question the quality of service that Guitar Center provides its customers. I have spent thousands of dollars at Guitar Center. I won't spend another penny there anymore after this revelation/experience. If I wanted to but a guitar fresh out of the box without a "professional" checking it out first I could have bought it online and had it shipped to my house for free instead of driving an hour and a half to pick one up, which is what I'll do in the future. Or, spend my money at the other music stores in my area. Very disappointed! Goodbye Guitar Center. You should be ashamed! I know I am for being so gullible thinking that you offered the minimum level of attention that I expect. I suspect most other customers expect the same. Thankfully the manufacturer takes pride in their work and the guitar plays...

I do not recommend this place or location for lessons. My 7 year old has been taking lessons there for about 6 months and the level of customer service has been awful. First they put you on automatic payments which I was not even aware of until I went to pay for the next set of lessons after the initial 4 and was informed of this information. Don’t you have to agree to have your credit card stored let alone enrolled in automatic payment without your knowledge and clear communication. I can’t help but feel like they are breaking privacy law especially after seeing other reviewers stating that they were not aware that they were on automatic payments. For any other I institution, I had to click a button and read an agreement to have automatic payment. Secondly, I have requested to speak to the lesson lead Tom at least four times in the 6 month tenure and not once has he called me back. The one time I talked to him he promised me a callback the same night or the next day and never called back. The store is poorly managed and disorganized in regards to lesson. They have no records of any request or conversations so when you call back everyone is super confused. No one takes the time to look at the situation and make a rational decision. In my case I requested to cancel the lessons going forward and was still charged for lessons that my son will not be taking. They refused to refund me the money for unused lessons even though I called them the same day of the charge to inform them it was wrong and the lesson was a week away. They pretty much told me I was lying and since they have no request to cancel future lesson they are keeping the money for lessons I don’t intend on using. Tom advised that Steve, the store manager, has “maybe spoken” to the district manager, Jeremy Hanhold who advised to keep my money. Where is the money going to go if no one is taking the lessons? How can you justify keeping money for four lessons when you charged me even after I requested to cancel? They are definitely no Amazon customer service or any leading company level as the store is poorly managed with lack of communication between the employees. I was planning on returning there in the fall for lesson but that will not happen and I highly do not recommend this place for anyone that would like to...
