I love this store for so many reasons...I swear if they ever expanded to include a used bookstore, I would probably never leave...here is what I enjoyed...I went on a random Saturday afternoon...let's just say my family is dealing with some medical issues, and I wanted to escape, just for an hour, to go and explore w/ zero expectations...It was a little busy, a bunch of people from various different generations, looking for a bunch of different stuff...there were Zoomers looking for some CDs, a couple of older Gen Xers looking at vinyl, and I wanted to find some hidden gems for my movie collection...I perused for about 45 minutes and I found some great films, like 6 blu-rays/dvds, and it was only $20 and it made my day...I just enjoyed the search and the place played some great music (WHO's The Wall) and everyone was quiet and respectful, everyone just enjoying their own search...there are so few places like this left on Long Island...even the thrift stores have jacked up their prices...I was very pleased to see that so many prices, including vinyl, are so damn reasonable...so if you have a bit of free time and want a break from the crap that's become this country, I highly recommend this place...make sure to take your time, don't rush and enjoy a world without streaming services, IPs...

I can only hope that the climate of the shop will improve, and urge record collectors to visit other more well run outlets such as Infinity in Massapequa Park or either Mr....
Read moreYou know you found a great record store when you visit them 4 times in 1 week. Imagine getting lost in the basement of your favorite rock artist opening up Gem after Gem. That’s basically how it is here. It’s a bit overwhelming I gotta be honest but in a good way. If you like digging THIS is your mecca! Start at the new arrivals and when you’re done go get lunch. Come back and there will be more new arrivals back out - I kid you not. It’s fantastic. Follow them on FB! They post constantly through the day new gems that are going out. Ohh and pricing… look we all know long island is expensive but mark’s (owner) pricing is VERY fair! You don’t ever need to open Discogs here - you’re not getting screwed! Pricing is exactly on par IF NOT better! Look for the sticky notes… they’ll tell you all you need to know...
