It was, “Okay” at best. The place wasn’t that full when we got there. We read the menus, and when the waitress came we were ready to put in our whole order. That seemed to throw her but no big deal. My dads appetizer came out.... and we waited. And waited. My appetizer came out. And we waited. And waited some more. My GF and sons appetizers came out. And guess what? We waited some more. And finally my stepmoms app came out. Same thing happened with our entrees, though to be fair, the wait wasn’t nearly as long as the appetizers. I’ve worked in kitchens. I’ve waited tables. I know what happens when the “flow” isn’t working well. And I am more understanding than most. But at some point, my server should’ve realized that as well, and maybe come over and offered an explanation or an apology. But..... nothing. It’s a real downer to have to sit there staring at your food while you’re waiting for the rest of your table to be served. Now, I might not have cared do much if the food was amazing. But it wasn’t. I got the breaded cod. Smaller piece, but it was ok. A baked potato a little bit bigger than a muffin. “Mixed vegetables” which was essentially steamed broccoli and cauliflower, which was not cut properly so you essentially had close to the entire stem hanging off the florets. When we were finally finished, our server asked if we wanted coffee or dessert, but to be honest, we just wanted to get the hell out of there by that point. For the price point (180+ tip for 5 people) it wasn’t horrible, but at that price I would expect a little more continuity and better food. Would I go back? Nah. Would I tell you to avoid it? No.... I guess. Good luck with the parking though. It’s in a mini mall, so Parking is...

I’m reading the reviews and thinking are they talking about another place? We stopped in on Thursday evening around seven and there was one table occupied in the left side of the dining room and maybe three parties on the right side of the dividing ½ wall. Someone greeted us showing us to a small table. I asked for a bigger table as the place was nearly empty. We sat and were given menus. The server upon her arrival indicated that she was “out of bread” but would see what she could do. Strange. I ordered the Perfect Storm; shrimp, scallops, swordfish with a baked potato, and broccoli. My wife ordered the Fish & Chips. Warm bread with butter packets was delivered, which was very tasty, crunchy, and soft inside. After nearly 45 minutes, the server appeared with our entrées. Bear in mind the place had a total of maybe four tables to serve. When I looked at the server without sayin a word but raising one eyebrow; she said “Broiled fish takes a long time to prepare”. I’m no Emeril Lagasse, but I know how fast fish broils, so ???? huh? The Fish and Chips were cold, undercooked, and greasy. My Perfect Storm was anything but perfect. It was soaked in an oily over salted and seasoned buttery sauce. The swordfish was bland and nearly tasteless. The baked potato was first rate (hence the second star). We left hungry and incredibly...

You might pass by this place and never ever realize what a gift you have here. The strip mall thing might fool you. B&B Fish are one of the best fish restaurants on Long Island. Obviously you walk in the door there's NO SMELL. Yet you're surrounded by being it's at market also, which didn't seem to interfere with the restaurant. The wait staff was excellent and very accommodating from your waiter down to the Bus boy.( We were there the night after Thanksgiving) My husband got The Flounder Fish,oh my gosh it was so good it was not the typical fish and Chips. The quality of the fish & the thin batter coating, I wish I knew the recipe and had someone to get me fresh fish everyday. I got to Chilean sea bass sauteed in lemon and butter. Very little is needed don't need to cover up when you have this high quality of fish a little lemon for tartness and you're good. I must say I've been to many 5-star restaurants this is including the city. Yet my Chilean sea bass at B&B was much better( being so fresh simple is better here) than many of the other restaurants I have been to. It's a definite must try restaurant. Prices are reasonable. However remember you're getting Quality Seafood you're paying for the food not the ambience which I appreciate and I hope they...

Husband bought a lobster platter, I guess it is to his desire but it lacked flavor/ seasoning. My daughter had the chicken strip with fries, which was good but fried on the hard side, for a 6 yr old. My food, the birthday girl, has been wanting some really good crab cakes and I am 100% disappointed that I believed the reviews on the crab cakes. The cakes are dry and have more binding then needs, which is what causes the dry out. Understanding the cost of everything going up, restaurants are opting to use cheaper quality ingredients, which unfortunately I just waisted $70 on. This is why I cannot support my local chains because there is no corporate to bring this concern back to. 5.5 crabs cakes heading to the garbage.. My family are chefs and I know quality. To eaches own, but not my business moving ahead.

Found this place thru word of mouth. Its easy to pass it by because it's in a small plaza and its sort of plain on the outside during the day. It reminded me of a place in Brooklyn that I used to go to growing up. I had the lobster bisque first and baked clams. There were nice chunks of lobster in the soup and oh...it was soo good! I had the traditional baked clams but I can't wait to go back and try the ones with peppers and bacon. The lobsters are huge! I watched others eating it. We had the ravioli with lobster, and the shrimp scampi. The Shrimp Scampi was not too oily and greasy. It was very good with pretty large shrimp. Overall it was a great experience.
