If one was to look up " price gouging, " this store would appear in the definition. $ 10.00 for a box of Cereal? This is absolutely disgusting. The prices are high and their expiration dates are poor. I left without purchasing anything and the woman who walked out in front of me complained as well. She could not believe the cost of their items, "they should be embarrassed," we both said. As a small supermarket in a nice community, they should do what suits the needs of their shoppers but they are not. This place needs to be reviewed by a legal team because they are certainly not doing the correct thing. We are living during tough times so prices have certainly increased but there is a difference between a price increase and taking advantage of your local shoppers. Fine Fare is a decent spot for general shopping. If you're looking for Latin American specialties, they have a great supply separated by region. They have a Brazilian area, a Portuguese area , (I know that's not Latin American), and several other countries represented with traditional items. Fantastic supermarket with an easy-to-navigate layout and a great mix of everyday essentials and also some Hispanic, Central, and South American products. It covers all the basics but also offers a variety of unique, hard-to-find exotic items. The cashiers are always warm and welcoming, going the extra mile to provide excellent service.
