Paisapan Bakery — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

So I needed a birthday cake last minute and I stumbled across this place that said they could make the cake in 30 minutes. Every other place told me a few days to a week so I was alittle hesitant but I decided to give them a shot. I specifically asked for a chocolate cake with strawberry filling to feed 10 people. That cale was pretty small but w e . We cut the cake and it was yellow cake with strawberry filling and some kind of chocolate filling, not even close to what I ordered. But thats not the end of it the cake was like mush inside almost like it was fully cooked which was gross. We found a clump of something in the middle of the cake. Talk about ruining someone's birthday with a cake we could eat. I called to complain and the lady tells me chocolate cake was extra . Ok but thats what I asked for i would have paid more. Also I asked why the cake was mushy and she replied its tres leches again I didn't ask for that . Do not waste your money at this place the cakes are gross take your business to a real bakery. I called first to see if they would do anything to resolve my issue before I made this review. Clearly they don't care about there customers or what they're...

They are a bunch of thieves. I placed an order online.And when I went to pick it up, I was told they did not have tamales. I asked to cancel the order and was told no I could not. The lady offered me a refund for the tamales. She charged me for the original order plus taxes & fees (online order app fees l, etc). The tamales I ordered came to $36 plus tax. She insisted she would refund the original payment method. It's been over a week & no refund.

The buñelo was drier than the desert. The papusas flavorless. The only thing drier than the buñelo was the maduros. The only thing that had any flavor was the arepa de choclo con Queso. So disappointed. I thought I found a good panaderia local. COUNT YOUR MONEY COMING INTO THIS PLACE; THERE ARE THIEVES AMONG YOU. OVER $71.47 for 1 buñelo, 1 arepa de choclo con queso, 3 papusas, a small white rice, & an order of maduros???? Ladrones!

Solid 3 stars. Food is superb, but for some reason when I go in these two employees tend to have an attitude. Never understood why. I walked in once and I know she saw me walk in, she decided it would be more important to play scrabble or whatever it was and figured I could wait almost 10 minutes before asking me if I needed something. Good food, but customer service could definitely improve. And I go in often enough that they know who I am very well if they saw me. They even laugh for some reason when I walk in which I find rude. I mean I do not take myself seriously but it is seems unprofessional. Start to hire people that act mature at their position and don't stand and make jokes with their friends toward the customers.
