Lost toys and comics — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

I was lucky enough to recently discover Lost Toys and Comics in Miller Place, N.Y. If you’re a fan of vintage toys, vintage comics, or just want to revisit childhood memories, then stopping by and seeing the store for yourself is an absolute must. This place is nostalgia overload, packed with everything from pristine carded action figures from the 90’s to probably the greatest assortment of graded comic books you’ll see anywhere on Long Island. Honestly, the vintage Amazing Spider-Man collection is the best I’ve ever seen. When it comes to the toys, the Batman collection is right there as well. Seriously, if you’re a fan of either of these iconic superheroes, this store is sure to impress.

In addition to the strong Spider-Man and Batman focus, the store has an amazing mix of vintage toys and comics. You’ll find everything from complete MOTU figures and playsets and a really impressive GI Joe vehicle collection. Even with all that, what truly sets the store apart is the guy behind it all. Rob is an absolute pleasure to talk to. He’s super knowledgeable and passionate about everything he has in the store and you’d be hard pressed to find a more clean, organized, and curated place than his. He really knows his stuff and from observing all the other regular customers that keep visiting, he’s got a real clubhouse feel going on and that is exactly what is needed nowadays.

Rob’s store is an absolute gem for Long Island and for anyone that is into vintage toys, key classic comics, and nostalgia in general. Visit and you’ll be guaranteed to leave happy. Can’t wait for my next...

I was absolutely thrilled for this retro toys and comic store to open within walking distance from the house! My wife.. not so thrilled. The store owner rob was extremely knowledgeable of all the products he had. It was a blast from the past to walk in there. I was surprised to see so many sealed Batman toys! There’s something for everyone there. Even my wife found something she had to have there! I’ve been there a few times now and every time rob is in a great mode and loves to talk toys and pop culture! Prices are pretty fair as well and the more you buy the better deal you get! I look forward to returning to complete my Batman animated series collection! Love this store! The owner, Rob, is a really chill guy and made a store with a very neighborhood feel/atmosphere to it. There's always other collectors popping in and out to "talk shop" with which is easy to do in a smaller shop like this. Selection is great, one wall is all MOC figures from the 80's & 90's, and there's tons of variety to pick from. He also has a decent comic selection, vintage packs of trading cards and lots of loose toys in baggies to buy. GREAT selection of vintage 3.75" G.I.
