We were looking forward to a Cajun dinner. My husband lived in New Orleans, so he was really excited. Our server was wonderful. Zero complaints about him. The place is super cute. We were surprised that there was almost no one there on a Saturday night. I had the blueberry margarita. It was very good. Didn't have the 'kick' i would have expected, but the taste was great. My husband usually has bluemoon. But they didn't have any in stock. I ordered appetizers for my meal, and asked if everything could come out at the same time. That didn't happen, so my food was there while my husband was waiting. The crab cakes had no flavor and the rock shrimp, which I thought were going to be spicy, were bland. I had to get extra sauce to make them better. My husband got the ocean treasure. The half lobster was over cooked. (The butter is not drawn butter so dont expect that flavor) Although the claw was OK. The shrimp were also over cooked. The scallops were delicious. The veggies that came with it, were just barely steamed through, with no spices. He also got the brussel sprouts, he said they were OK, but more leafy than expected. As for the table. Our booth seats were so wobbly we had a good laugh about it. Unfortunately we won't be going back. Too bad, its a great location and the people were so nice!

I came to visit this restaurant. The food quality was outstanding. They had extremely fresh seafood that was given in plentiful amounts. The appetizers were very tasty and well cooked. There are a couple reasons though why I'm holding back from five stars. First it's not labeled that the $60 ultimate boil can be split with two people no problem. The second is they tacked on a gratuity tip with us only having a table of five. We were going to tip that amount anyway but it's more a principal thing. And third it's more lucrative to sit at the bar or to take out for this restaurant than to actually sit at a table. They have a deal if you do take out you'll receive 1 pound of shrimp if you spend $100. And most the appetizers and drinks are on a lot of a cheaper scale if you sit at the bar. So I did feel quite a bit ripped off on that side. Overall I would go back but I would probably sit at the bar next time I eat.

It was my first time ordering from here, the 5th of June to be exact. I ordered the ultimate boil for pickup, pickup time was about 9:25 pm I didn't check the bag before I left when I got home and open all excited to eat only to notice that the most expensive thing was missing, there was no crab legs in the boil , I was disappointed i called the restaurant but they had already closed. I had no others food so I eat it and called the next day to complain, they offered to make me the crab that was missing from the meal but I would have to pick it up nothing along with it just the crab legs I told them I would like a refund for the crab they told me 7-14 business day I'm still yet to receive my money back.. Called today and the person I spoke was asking for the whole information on my card security and all I find the sketchy, so I hang up

QUICK SUMMARY: Server was rude and combative. Place is NOT good for large groups - can seat many people but cannot handle the volume and servers cannot hide their agitation of having to deal with a large group. Food was better than the service, but not worth the hassle.

DETAILS: Server was clearly still in training - a more experienced Server should probably try to hide her disdain for the type of table she'd been assigned better, could see her rolling her eyes as she was shown the table and walking away Server was combative, would repeat an order incorrectly and when corrected - give an attitude Server doesn't have perspective to understand when standing behind a row of people, giving directions by pointing or saying "we're going THIS way" will go unseen by the row she's standing behind - then gives an attitude when people don't understand. Server came with boils reading part of what she sees in the bag instead of reading the ticket - in turn giving people wrong orders and cannot understand why. (Ex. "Shrimp & scallop" vs "shrimp, scallop, and crab legs in garlic sauce" After requesting in the beginning of the meal to split checks, we were told that we must do it at the end. We were then handed a receipt and told to split what we ordered - however the receipt lists orders as "Open Food" or "Boil Combo" with no detail. The only way to split was to guess the items based on menu price. After trying to explain this to the server, she was combative and said "well I wrote everything down" (which still doesn't solve the issue) followed by "well it doesn't show that way in the computer"

Hours and $600 + 15% gratuity later, we were able to leave, full and frustrated.

Server was all around rude, unorganized, inexperienced, and combative and when the manager was told all he gave was an "oh sorry...

I usually don't write reviews and my first review seemed more opinionated and not constructive. So I'll rewrite to be fair and honest about my experience. I used to love this place for a good shrimp boil that didn't require me driving out of my way. I haven't been since 2020 so it has been a while and I don't know if there's been a change in leadership or what but this was my worst experience and I do not intend to return to this location. I don't blame anyone in particular because it seems the food quality, though fresh, has been reported for a bit of time now. Our food came out and I could immediately tell it wasn't properly seasoned it looked like it was placed in the water boiled and mixed with watered down butter and pieces of garlic. This is not it. At a point there was hair in my food and I brought it up to the waiter and she became sightly combative when I brought it up to her I did not blame her though she felt like I did and I didn't expect any accommodations since at that point most of the food was finished. The food wasn't good I didn't want more to take home though I appreciated the gesture. I hope that this doesn't come off as being hateful because I am just trying to be honest about my experience and hope that this was...
