There are wheelchair ramps towards the end of the train station, but the middle of the train station only has stair access. The signage is relatively clear. There are no bathrooms at the station right now since the station house is under renovation. The north side of the tracks has very little parking, but the south side of the tracks has a lot of parking as it is part of Stony Brook University. Read moreI enjoy going to this train station for the convenience I like it a little bit better than the Port Jeff train station just because it's easier for me to get to and park at with the school on one side and an easy pick-up drop-off on the other. It's pretty easy to switch sides via the bridge or the crosswalk right before the station. I just wish that the train was cheaper from out here to get to the city. The elevated walkway makes getting to the platform you need easier. Not all stations have that.
